Diag: PCOS(DX 02/05) & right blocked tube(DX 04/06)
DS: 4 years old(4/9/04): OUR MIRACLE/conceived 50mg clomid 4th cycle.
TTC baby #2 for 3 years
Total 3 m/c's
IUI# 1 cancelled due to overstim
IUI#2 BFN
IUI# 3 BFN
Now moving on to IVF w/ICSI
ER 4/30 retrived 5 eggs & 1 mature. Embryo stopped growing on day 4. ET cancelled.
Taking care of self & TTC on our own. Done for now with FT. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.Proverbs 3:5-6

I got my last report and all 6 are still dividing and growing normally, nurse said they look great so it appears we will have a few to freeze after all!!!

2nd U/S 6/2 Heard both heartbeats!! Baby A - 132 bpm, Baby B - 125 bpm
3rd U/S 6/9 Baby A - 162 bpm, 17.3mm; Baby B 162 bpm, 14.9 mm
Here's the story: I got up at 7 AM. At 7:30 I emptied my bladder for the last time before the transfer. 8AM I drank 40oz. of gatoraide. 8:30 I took Anaprox and Valium. 9:15 we arrived at my RE and the power was out. I FREAKED OUT! We sat in the dark until 10AM when the power came back on. Then in the middle of the transfer the fire alarm went off.lol! But...we transferred two 8 celled mid grade embyos! And...I cried, I am so relieved that the worst is over and it is out of our hands now. Now we wait, hope, and pray!
GiasAunt- that's great that you will have some to freeze! Good luck tomorrow!
Hopefull-I hope all is well and I will be anxiously waiting to hear from you.

Hello ladies - I went to the RE at 8am. I was super nervous. They did the ER at 9am and they managed to get 8 eggs. I was super crampy after the procedure so they gave me some pain meds to releive. They said they will know tomorrow if they will freeze or transfer but they gave me instructions for the transfer just in case. So more waiting. I'll keep you posted on any news I get tomorrow.
Tanya - glad to hear all went well. wow 8 celled transfered that sounds super!!
GiasAunt- good luck tomorrow ..that's awesome if you can have some to freeze. I hope i do to.

9/2001 - BFP
11/2001 - ectopic ruptured, emergency surgery, lost right tube
8/2002 - I was there to welcome our adopted son, Riley, into the world, cut the cord, first to hold him
4/2008 - uterine miscarriage (I thought that tube was blocked?!)
5/2008 - chose RE for IVF
7/2008 - tentative ER
CONGRATS HOPEFULL - 8 EGGIES IS GREAT!!! It's normal to be crampy after ER - I couldnt even get out of bed for two days and tomorrow will be 5 days out and I'm still kinda sore. Let us know when you hear from the nurse tomorrow!!
Tanya - WOO HOO, sounds like things went great (after the minor heart stopper!) and technically you should consider yourself pg!!! Are you going to POAS?? My 5 day ET is tomorrow and I promised myself I wouldn't POAS until 5/11 (Mother's Day). I thought it hopefully would be a nice Mother's Day gift to myself and DH!!!
I'll try to post tomorrow after ET but I know I'm supposed to be horizontal all weekend so I'm not sure I will be able to get downstairs to the study to the computer!! I'm so nervous I know I won't be able to sleep tonight.

GiasAunt-Good luck tomorrow! It went really well for me, well other than the loss of power and fire alarm. The actual transfer went very well. What day is your first beta? I am super scared to POAS! Maybe I will do it on Mothers Day too. My beta is 5-13! I can't wait. Oh...how many are you going to transfer?

As for me I spoke to my RE & the one is still growing. I am said about that. Do you girls think I have a godo chance?? He said they are doing a 5 day blast so I can have a better chance. What do you girls think???? I need advice & comforting from my fellower IVFR's..

Oh-Hopeful...I am so sorry that you are going through this. I am sure that if that little embaby is still growing in a dish he/she is going to thrive we he/she gets back in it's mommy. It must be a very strong embaby. And...making it to five days is a very good sign. So...you keep your head held high and think positive thoughts. Your baby will be home soon and we will be here supporting you the whole way!
Well girls my RE calle d this mornign & my embryo grew from a 6 cell to a 8 cell. Which is good. Now the next day is so crucial. I am hoping all goes well tomorrow..

Mom2Mikey-My message this morning was meant for you. I guess I was still sleeping. That's great that it is an 8 cell now! That is wonderful news! What day is your transfer again?

I just heard from the RE and out of the 8 embryos 3 are hanging in there. I'm in shock we only have 3 left but we only need 1 right? so I'm praying these 3 embryos make it through the weekend. Looks like we will be transfering Monday or Wednesday. No signs of my E2 sky rocketing so let's just see how these embryos develop.

Hi ladies - back from ET, things went great. We chose to transfer 2 embryos (even though doc only recommended 1) and both of them are top grade. My beta is 5/12, only 9 days away!!! I was so excited, I thought I'd have to wait 2 whole weeks! But I'm going to POAS on Mother's Day morning (day before beta) so hopefully I'll only have to wait 8 days for my BFP!!
Mom2Mikey and HOPEFULL - good news about the embies hanging in there, don't get down, YOU ONLY NEED 1!!
I'm going back to bed but will check in again later so everyone pls be sure to post any updates!!

GiasAunt- I am glad things went good & can't wait to see the pic of you BFP test. Hey just wondering what did you mena by highest grade embryos?? I am curious because I do not knwo anything of this stuff. I am learning as I go & from you girls.
Hopefull- glad to hear things are progressing w/ your eggs. I know how you feel about not having as many as they had gotten from you. I had 5 eggs & turned out to have only one fertilize. I am praying for you girl.
As for me my trasfer is schedule for MOnday. i will find out what time tomorrow when my RE calsl with an update..I am praying my lil embryo keeps growing..It does only take one. I look @ my son & know that is true..

Mom2Mikey- I am bored to pieces! I cannot wait until Monday so that I can cook, clean, and keep busy!!! I am sure your embaby is doing just great (it has made it this far and that means it is strong!) You are absolutely right, it does just take one. It sounds like you have a strong one. Good Luck!!!!!
