Hey ladies, quick ?
I am on lupron X 3days and have to travel by plane tomorrow am. I get very motion sick and usually take Dramamine to combat this. I called my RE and the nurse wasn't sure if it was ok. She said usually you shouldn't take things that you can't take while pregnant but I will be very ill if I don't, also she said that if I had to take it I had to take it. Any advise since she was less than helpful???

Also I have a nasty UTI and need antibiotics. Has anyone had this happen while on Lupron or PG? If so do you know of any PG safe antbiotic?

My RE never had an issue with me taking any med while on Lupron, it was once I started stimming that he wanted me to take only pg safe meds.

As for the UTI, tell your Dr that you are TTC and that you need a pg safe antibiotic.

Lupron is shutting down your cycle so your RE can kick-start it back up again with stims... So in other words you are not developing your eggs right now. You should be just fine taking the meds you need.

I agree with the other ladies, Meghan. You should be fine to take the dramamine but I'd make sure your antibiotic was something you can take safely during PG becuase you'll have to take that for a longer period so it will take a little time to get out of your system........Just to be safe!!
