spotting
so, i did my lifting class 7:15-8:15am and when i changed to go swimming w/ shelly at 9:30ish i had light reddish blood on my pad and when i wiped i got more. so, i put a tampon in for swimming. afterwards there didn't seem like much and i haven't spotted this last hour w/ just the pad on. i don't know what to think? i know spotting can be normal in a pregnancy but in my situation it's not a good sign, in my mind at least. i know you are praying but please send up extra prayers this baby holds on and grows stronger each day. mother's day will be hard but i will try to be positive and cherish this little one and my dear shelly.

Re: spotting
Shelly...are you taking progesterone?? Sometimes the suppos can cause this. I have
been following your journey and pray for your baby.
Rest more and maybe skip the classes until your completely sure all is well.
Wishing you the best always.

Re: spotting
Lifting class, as in lifting weights? I'm sure everything is fine, but perhaps take it easy until your next u/s. Spotting is 100% normal.

Re: spotting
Oh Rachelle. I know how scary this can be. And I know working out helps keep you sane but maybe you want to stop doing those for a little bit?
Sending more . Hang on little baby.

Re: spotting
yes, lifting as in weights. still no more spotting and no cramping.
i do take prometrium and estrace vaginally so just pills, i wouldn't call then suppositories. i went off them mon pm -thurs am and started up again when we saw the baby might make it.
marian, you know me well the class makes me feel good and normal and also keeps me in my routine which always helps me. maybe i'll go and do the lightest weights and sit out rep. we do lunges and squats too. lots of walking lunges today. could that have been it?

Re: spotting
I wouldn't exercise. I know it helps you feel better, but I'd avoid it. I wouldn't use the tampons either.
Maybe the starting and stopping of the progesterone has caused this.
Will continue to send extra prayers up for you!

Re: spotting
Rachelle - all the times I've spotted so far are after I've done too much . . . mostly picking up and carrying my niece, moving boxes, etc., so it really could be from the lifting class.
