Everything went well! Since we live about three hours away from RE office, we went up last night and stayed. I had to be there at 8:30; dh collected at the hotel. We have found that that goes a lot better than him trying to do it in the office-LOL! I was really worried about nausea; anesthesia makes me deathly ill. Since I was hurting so bad, nurse gave an IM shot of demerol and phenergan-that helped! I wasn't sick at all and we drove the three hours home, so that was awesome. I am hurting pretty badly-feels like when I had my laparoscopy. Does this go away prettty quickly?

We got 13 eggs! Woohoo! RE's office will call tomorrow b/f p.m. to tell us the quality of eggs and how they are doing. I kept asking about the semen analysis and they just told me that no news was good news.

Anyhoo, I laid in the bed all day and will continue to do so tomorrow. No water submersion for a week, find out more about transfer tomorrow. I will let you all know as soon as I hear something!

Okay, nurse just called from RE office. Out of 13 eggs, 11 were mature. Out of the 11, 5 fertilized. Is this good? We would like some to freeze, but I am worried. What did all of you have? Ahhhhh!

I sounds very good, about the pain, for me it was brutal but only because my doctor doesn't give you any pain killers, only Tylenol, but after two-three days it was fine, I had 25 eggs, 15 were mature and all fertilized, but out of those 15 only 5 continued to develop, I transfered two (blighted ovum) and have three on ice.
So if you end up with five that is good news, congrats and KUP.

5 fertilized is a good number. They always say it here but it only takes one. Good luck!

5 is a great number, Brande! Congrats!

The pain goes away It does sort of feel like a scope. It went away in a couple of days. I only got tylenol, though.
