I think we may have found donor embryos! We have been talking to a couple on the miracles in waiting website and I think we have a match. I am so excited! This couple had male infertility and transferred two blasts on their first IVF cycle ended up with twins. They have 6 embryos to donate. The twins are adorable. I know...I am rambling, but I am so excited. I just can't believe that we have found someone and this just feels so right. They are going to send some information about the embryos so that I can forward it to my RE and we will go from there. Am I dreaming? Someone pinch me, quick!

For those of you who asked about the costs...I am not really sure. Here is waht I know:
Frozen transfer= $950.00
Lawyer to draw up contract=???
Shipment of embryos= $200-$500
Medications= $200-$500
Ultrasounds= $400-$800
Labs=???
As far as I know these are all of the costs associated with the transfer. Much cheaper than a donor egg cycle but it is really hard to find people who want to donate who also have the characteristics that you are looking for.

I will keep you all posted. Keep your fingers crossed!

Today the couple told me that they want updates and pictures at least twice a year. Huh?
That is WAY more contact than we are comfortable with. We were NOT looking for someone to SHARE a child with. So...I am not sure what is next. But, this stinks!
