I am 31 years old. I have two children from a previous marraige. I had a tubal ligation 10 years ago. I had a cycle cancelled last month due to "poor response". Now mt RE says that I have poor ovarian reserve. My FSH was 11.9. Estradiol was 37. I had four antral follicles. On day four I had 10 follicles, day 7 I had 7, Day eight was 9 follicles and was cancelled. My RE says he wants to double my meds. That would put me on Menopur 150 and follistim 450. He did not say our chances are poor, he said he was confident we would make it to retreival but everything I read online suggests otherwise. I asked online RE and they said I should consider donor eggs. I really want a child that is genetically mine. I am so confused. We took out a loan to pay for this and are running out of money. I do not want to spend thousands if I do not have any chance of getting pregnant. Does anyone out there have any experience with this?
