Sorry guys - ANOTHER question! We set things in motion for our first IVF - I'm due to start bcps as soon as AF arrives, and I'm just getting SOOOO excited. I am going to be starting my stims at 150 Follistim (and I think 37.5 Luveris). I believe I'm a fast responder because of the PCOS (or I have been in the past). So . . . about how many days did you stim? The nurse kind of gave me all the "outside numbers" for the longest it could take (up to 9 days after stopping bcps to get AF, up to 14 days of stims). Also, if you wouldn't mind telling me your medicine dosage, and let me know if you are a "poor responder." Thanks!!!

I think most of us stim around 10 days give or take.

I was on stims anywhere from 12-15 days. I respond with a lot of eggs but slowly and it takes a lot of meds.

Well, I also have PCOS but think my dr is very aggressive because I was on a much higher dose of Follistim (300 for 7 days and 225 for 3 more days) but for 10 days total, along with 75 IU of Luveris and 250 IU of Ganirelix my last 3 days of stims and the day after last stim shot. I do think the Luveris helped me because they got 33 mature eggs of the 36 retrieved (all fertilized too)! As a comparison, with my IUIs I was taking Femara and 3 days of Follistim (at 75 dosage) and got anywhere from 5-9 eggs. Good luck with your cycle!

Hi, this is going to be my first IVF, so I am full of questions as well. II dont have an aswer to any of your questions, havent got my protocol yet..
