No cleaning, no heavy lifting.....???
I understand the reasoning behind it but it's so hard with a 20 month old and define cleaning.....vacuuming, moping floors, bathroom...i understand that..but what about loading dish washer...washing clothes and folding if someone brings the clothes to the laundry room?? Aggghhhrrr...this is hard. I have a house keeping coming 1xweek but it's not enough in dusty dry AZ...my floors are always dirty. Did you guys have to do the strict no cleaning thingy too??

Re: No cleaning, no heavy lifting.....???
When I was preggo with Marc, I had twins to look after. I tried to limit my heavy lifting..so I carried one twin at a time lol! Seriously, I would do all the normal things just not at once. I would vacuum one day, mop another, try to have someone carry the laundry to/from the laundry room. I always loaded and unloaded the dishwasher. Just do not go overboard, and when you are tired stop. And when you are sitting keep your feet up.

Re: No cleaning, no heavy lifting.....???
Nope, I didn't, actually I never heard of it, ; of course common sense told me no heaving lifting, and I was too tired anyways to do much, but I did clean my house, cooked, did the dishes and the laundry.

Re: No cleaning, no heavy lifting.....???
You know, this might be a good chance to talk DH into buying you a Roomba! They are awesome little robots that vacuum for you. They won't fall off stairs, they won't hurt pets, they are even programmed how to deal with fringed rugs!
Can you tell I really want a Roomba??

Re: No cleaning, no heavy lifting.....???
I may be in the same boat as you if I get a BFP from my FET and it has me very worried. I believe I can't lift anything over 20 lbs. and Brooke almost weighs 30!!! I haven't figured it out yet but will let you know if I do!!!

Re: No cleaning, no heavy lifting.....???
Same vote here. As of next week no heavy lifting. If i get my bfp then none for the next like 9 months. I was wondering how earth I'm gonna do that w/ dh gone. I think i can manage most of it but the laundry up and down the stairs. As of now my lo only weighs about 18 lbs but i figure it won't be long before he is over that 20. I have been trying to teach him to climb up and down the stairs and then into the car and his car seat. I figure that this weekend I am going to have to change his car seat from the center seat to behind the drivers side and change him over to the convertable from the carrier. I have a lawn company so I don't have to worry about the yards.
If there are any other things that you ladies can think of let me know. I was going to post something like this earlier today.
