Ok so do I leave it long with longer layers? OR should I cut it off to my shoulders again!!

and this is the shorter version....although i wouldn't go quite that short maybe to the shoulders!!

Oh Stacie...you are so lucky...it looks great either way. I love long hair......but I'm sure a shorter hair cut would be much easier. I just did more layers in mine recently....and it's fun that way since I can still wear a ponytail but have more of a style to it when I do it down. Thats a tough call. At least your hair looks great either way. What color is it now?

its Gray!!!

Ok not all Gray...the roots are gray and dirty blonde and the rest is blonder.

I am going to go with the lighter color in the first picture, I figure summer is almost here
and I want something light and fresh!

I would go in the middle, a touch longer than the top of your shoulders w/ long layers. You are lucky -- you look good both ways!

I happen to LOVE short hair (thankfully DH does too ) so I'm biased. I think you look great either way but the short cut is super cute! Somewhere in between would look adorable too! You are so lucky to be able to grow your hair long. Once mine gets to my shoulders it's awful - thin and curly and you can't do anything with it.

I say go shoulder length with long layers. I've been a hair designer for 20yrs. I do platform work for the big hair shows. Short hair that stops near your cheeks would make your face look wide. Long long stairght hair would not draw the to your smile. You have a really nice smile and if you were my client I would want to draw attention to that area of your beautiful face. The hair color in the bottom pic. is very nice on you or even a littile more Strawberry blind. Just my thoughts, I'm a prof. artist for a major comp. so of course I jump right in on make /hair question. Hope you enjoy your new look, what ever you pick will be nice I'm sure. Let us see your after the change.

Can't wait to see it! I wish my hair was long enough to pull back into a ponytail. So my advice, based on personal experience, is to keep it at shoulder length.

I say shoulder length, but you look great with long and short..lucky lady Can't wait for a pic.
