Ok here is the deal. She has gotten preggo 6 times and only deliverying 2x's. All her miscarriages were at 9 wks. shew did pio w/ both births and w/ 1 of the miscarriges. She said that she say and re and all the tests they did came back normal. They also did testing on all the miscarriages. She did not miscarry any of them and had to have a d&c w/ all of them. Any thoughts? She is really dicouraged.
I know that you ladies are full of all sorts of info and thought that i'd throw it out for here and see if you guys had any ideas.

Re: ? for my cousin
Maybe she possibly has immune issues.
Having had 3 missed m/c's (8wks) myself, my RE thinks that may be my problem and suggested IVIG or LIT. Of course I don't know anything about her situation and/or treatments, so that just a guess based on what you mentioned.
Has her RE made any recommendations or protocol changes if she decides to cycle again? Were her full term pgs natural or via ART?
I sure hope she finds some answers.

Re: ? for my cousin
Do you mind me asking how old she is? I had 4 m/c before I got pg naturally with my DD who is now 3 yrs old. Two of my m/c were right around 10 wks with blighted ovums... and subsequently, two D & C's. The other were m/c around 5 wks, so I'm assuming most would consider them chemical pregnancies. I was about 38 when all this started happening (I got a later start than most in TTC)... I've had all kinds of testing done, and we can't pinpoint any issues... and DH may be borderline MF (morphology, mainly) but not at a level that concerns any of the dr's I've consulted with. Immune issues were suspected, but we were never diagnosed with that. My newest RE is starting to believe it's just nature taking its course b/c of my age, and it's just a matter of playing the numbers game and getting lucky that the one "right" embryo will come along and I'll get pg.
I'm sure that doesn't give you any answers for your cousin, but if its any comfort, she's not alone. I'm envious that she has two... I'm still stuck at one, praying for #2... BTW, with my DD I wasn't on any fertility drugs (clomid or otherwise) and I didn't do any PIO or progesterone of any sort . I did do the heparin/BA regimen through about 20 wks though...
Wishing your cousin all the best in her TTC another little one!!! {{hugs}}

Re: ? for my cousin
I would first want to know had she had RPL testing, may RE's don't endorse it and normally do not recommend it why, but they do not! My RE did RPL testing on anyone with 3 's or 2 losses.
Another thought, I could put out there is something that was told to me after my pregnancy with AJ, by RE. She had told me that since I had many d&c's (more then 2) my losses may have been due to accreta (3 losses while ttc via IVF). With every d&c you build scar tissue. Any adherence to this scar tissue may and can cause early pregnancy loss. She has noted this was a very big possibility, but we would never really know.
