March girls...

Thought I would start a fresh thread. Wondering how everyone is doing, and what stage you all are at? I know there are a bunch of us. I have been on dose 225 of Gonal F for 6 days so far (well expcept for that little mishap the other night...LOL). I had bw this morning, and she said my levels were a little high so they decreased my dose to 112tonight. I have to go in for bw & u/s tomorrow morning, to see where my follies are at. This will be my first u/s since stimming. Hoping those follies are getting bigger in there!

I am calculating we will be doing the ER end of this week, and ET beginning of next if all goes well. I can't wait!! I was talking to a friend the other day about IVF and I realized that the worst part of it is all this prep (shots, bw, u/s, waiting, rageing hormones,). The ER & ET is a breeze compared to all this.....

Heather, I am right there with you. I will take my 5th dose of follistim today. I am at 225 units and 5 units of Lupron.
I had my first monitoring US and bw today. I have 3 follies on each side that are about 8 and a dozen or so coming up according to the RN. I had responded well last time with just 100 units of Follistim, so I am keeping my fingers crossed to getting even more this time!

Goodluck with your first US tomorrow. I hope you have many growing well!

My RE called. I have 8 good quality embryos 3dpr. He wants to do my transfer on Tuesday as he expects there to be some blasts to select from. He's excited with the results. I'm speechless. I'm excited, but don't want to start thinking that it's guaranteed to work just because it's gone great til this point and he's so enthusiastic.

Heather & Meenu: sounds like you 2 are progressing nicely. keep those follies growing.

Good morning ladies! Well, I triggered last night. DH did better with the shot than the first cycle but I'm more sore this time. It took him 3 sticks to get all the meds in the first time

this time I ate a big Sonic burger and fries 1/2 hour before so he had more to aim at

There is not a single mark on my tummy but it still feels a little sore. Not anywhere near as bad at the Menopur/Bravelle shots though! This morning I am terribly nauseous and I hate that but I'll eat some toast and hopefully it will go away.

ER is tomorrow and I'm nervous and anxious but excited and happy and hopeful.

I can't wait to hear about all the mature eggs they get!! I'm sorry it's not until this afternoon. That stinks. I had an Endoscopy in January that wasn't until 3:00 pm and I cannot go without eating that long - yuck! My ER tomorrow will be at 8:00 am.

Cindy - that's great news!! And just in time for your birthday! BFP before Easter!!

Heather - best of luck with your u/s today!!

Angel - those are great numbers - keep it up - grow follies grow!!

This weekend DH and DMIL and I drove over to Orlando (about 2 hours away) and went to Ikea. What huge store - OMG! We were there for 4.5 hours including lunch (they have two cafes!). I want to redecorate my craft room with decent furniture that actually matches and I found some great pieces. We are still debating on bookcases so we'll go back next month and get those. It's a small room so I have to think "do I need this?" and "what do I really have room for?" and measure, measure, measure. I also found the couch and loveseat I want for our living room. The pieces we have now do not match and the couch is old and sagging. They're supposed to open an Ikea closer to me in the fall so we'll wait until then for the couches. We also got more plants planted in the front yard and will be doing that again next weekend (well DH and his father will be planting; I'll still be laying around from my ET).

I started bcps on Saturday, 3/1. I start my Lupron on 3/19.

I'm looking forward to hearing how things progress for all of you!!

Jsqaure, oh wow, you have already triggered! Take rest now and let those follies grow and mature! Goodluck with ER. Hope they find tons and tons of mature follies.

Nuts- GL with your retrieval. Are they making you wait till noon for that? I would be all hungry and very thirsty. I would have thrown a tantrum and demanded early retrieval. I cannot stand not eating!

Cindy - GL with ET. Hope you have many sticky ones to transfer and they burrow in there!

NutsC - Best of luck today. Can't wait for your fert report. Sorry you have to wait til the afternoon. Keep busy to keep your mind off it. It goes by pretty fast once you're in there.

Thanks for all the "good lucks" everyone! I'm super excited. I'm feeling kind of yucky today. I have been having cramps in my lower left abdomen since Friday night, not constant but every so often (maybe 5-10 times a day) just a little ouch. And now I'm getting cramps in my back. Tomorrow cannot come fast enough. I'm glad I go in at 7:30 am! I have to get my Folgard Rx and my pain killer Rx today but otherwise I'm hanging close to home and taking it easy. Maybe I'll wait for DH to get home from work and we'll go to the pharmacy together. Maybe we can stop at the ice cream shop too, get my mind off everything with a hot fudge sundae.

Cindy - have you heard any more from your RE about transferring 2 or 3? After reading all the replies to your post about your fertility report and the comments on how many to transfer I feel very fortunate that I have the RE that I have. He will transfer 3 no problem and I'd love him to do 4 but I don't think he will. I am like Nuts-C though, I'd be thrilled with multiples! All I really want, all that any of us really wants, is a healthy and happy little baby to love and care for.

Hey ladies! I had my u/s today, and I have 7 follies on the right, and 7 follies on the left that range from 13-18. And a bunch of smaller ones. So they are getting there.

I go back in again tomorrow morning for more bw & another u/s. I wish there was an easier way to look at them without getting probed...uck...so uncomfortable.

Good luck to everyone w/their ER & ET's!!! Let get some March babies going!!!

I guess I should be posting here, but I am certain my cycle will go over into April since I have to be on b/c pills around 2 weeks before starting Lupron. I am going tomorrow for cd3 testing and I should no a little more then.

Gin - We're glad to have you post with us in March. My cycle was a spill over from Feb. to March so I posted in both.

Meenu - How's the follies?

As for me, my ET is tomorrow at 1pm. Lots of water and valium are my protocol. I'll discuss the decision about 2 or 3 w/ the embriologist and RE at 12:15. I took the rest of the week off from work to rest and incubate my embies.
