Default Lupron Headache?

I know I'm becoming a post-a-holic lately, sorry ladies.......

I've had this terrible headache on and off for the last week now. Last night it was so bad it made me nauseous. Its just pounding and the light hurts my eyes. Unfortunately I'm stuck here at work and I cant get in touch w. my RE.

I know I'm not supposed to take Advil but what about Tylenol? Remember I'm going to be doing Heparin but I'm only on day 2 of stims so its going to be awhile........

what do you think ladies? ANy suggestions?

I think tylenol would be the best bet!! I had terrible headaches during my 1st trimester .. OMG awful!! I'd come home and just want to lay in a dark room and rest and I had no appetite.

Hope you feel better soon!!

My RE told me that tylenol was okay to take too. Hope your headaches go away soon!

I took tylenol for my lupron headaches. I was also sick for most of my last IVF cycle so instead of the tylenol I was taking cough syrup with vicoden. That sure did the trick.

Oh I am so sorry. I had the terrible Lupron headaches too. I tried the Tylenol but it didn't work so I ended up asking for something stronger. See if your RE can give you a couple of Vicodin to make it through. Also try lying down in a cool, dark room with no sound. I have used both hot(VERY hot) and cool compresses and both seem to help a little. Have DH give you a neck, shoulder, head massage.

When you are laying down concentrate on relaxing each muscle group/especially those in your neck and jaw. Just start from your toes and relax, go all the way to the top of your head and relax.

Hopefully something will help you through this. It sounds like a migraine to me!
