So I disappeared for a little while but have been stalking you all!! I own a tax business and well you know how it goes. It was a welcome distraction and one I am also ready to be rid of. We had an appt. today with our RE and all my tubes look good so I start Lupron on 5-10!!!!! WooHoo it's official, no turning back now...not that I would want to. Can't wait to keep posting good news. It was a little shock to see how much I couldn't do while on the meds. Not that I want to ride a horse, jump on a trampoline or do heroin, but still...no caffeine.... All worth it I know. So a little heads up for my DH, am I going to be a raging ball of hormones and hot flashes while on the hormones???

I had a lot of hot flashes during the stimming period, headaches with Lupron, and a little bit of gastritis (bad heartburn) because of the Dexamethasone, but not so much more bit*** than usualy, not that I am one of course LOL., but no, my DH said that on the contrary I was very calm, mind you that I am Bipolar and stopped all meds. about a mnth. before starting, so I was expenting mood swings like crazy, but no everything was ok. Congrats on your big adventure and best of luck.

Wanted to wish you good luck!! The Lupron gives me bad headaches so that can make me grouchy. I actually find being on the BCPs makes me moody. I'm not stimming this time (FET) but the stim meds make me tired. The worst part for me on our first IVF was the 2ww. I was a moody b**ch the whole time. But the second IVF I stayed completely positive up until the day before the beta. DH said I was much more tolerable with the positive attitude than the first time around! So, my advice is to stay positive and think happy thoughts
