I had my third RE consultation today and OMG I just love, love, love this Dr. Rodriguez!!! He's head of Plano ARTS in Plano, Texas. He is so down to earth, funny and totally sweet. We must have chatted for an hour and a half in his office today and even managed to talk about some IVF stuff, lol! He gave me a hug when I left.

I will have my testing cycle in June and my procedures start in July. I need to have a regular cycle after the m/c in April but of course it's taking it's time getting here this month. Only because I am paying attention and wanting it to start I'm sure.

This is serious now! We are officially on the IVF plan for a baby!!

I am really glad I found this board and am looking forward to getting lots of advice and hopefully making some online buddies as well!

3/2001 - HSG shows blocked left tube
9/2001 - BFP
11/2001- cornual ectopic ruptured, emergency surgery, lost right tube and quite a bit of uterus
8/2002 - I was there to welcome our adopted son, Riley, into the world, cut the cord, first to hold him
4/2008 - uterine miscarriage (I thought that tube was blocked?!)
5/2008 - chose RE for IVF
6/2008 - learned that I have an odd shaped uterus but that my remaining tube is in fact open
7/2008 - met with RE to discuss surgery on uterus and future procedures in hopes of having a 2009 baby!

Congratulations on finding an RE that you personally and genuinely LIKE! As my last RE said, it's all about the trust in the relationship between the patient and the dr... Sounds like you are excited!!!

And to what Stacie said about Rylie and his beautiful eyes... you're gonna have to chase the girls off with a stick when he gets older... or is he already a heartbreaker? He is absolutely adorable!

I just found out that one of the ladies on my local mom's online board will be cycling with me. She is one of many who suggested I interview this RE.

Yeah, our Riley is a cutie. Thank you for the compliments. I keep thinking that he is waaaaayyyy too ornery to be so cute. My friends assure me that it's the reason he is so cute - so that I don't clobber him for being so ornery all the time, lol!
