I did my trigger last night and all was going ok. I pulled the needle out, and as soon as I bent down to grab some gauze some of the fluid and blood ran down my bum. So I wipe it off and pushed on the injection site. And when I went to get up, it drippled out again. Do you think enough stayed inside?? No more came out after that but now I am worried that not enough stayed in there... . Has this happend to anyone and you still got a lot of mature eggs during ER???

My first cycle DH did my trigger shot and when he pulled the needle out there was still a little bit of meds left in the syringe, so he stuck me again. I complained about it to my nurse, since it didn't feel great to get stuck in my tummy over and over, and she said a little bit wouldn't have made much of a difference - but I understand your worry over it. I'd call your clinic just to put your mind at ease.

I just talke to the nurse. She said she is "thinking" it is ok without knowing how much came out. But thinks I will be fine. I am just worried too much came out and not enough got in there to do what it's suppose to do. But can't really do anything now...I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see what they get for eggs...

I wouldn't worry too much, Heather. You've been such a great responder (25 eggs!) that likely you'll soak up every ounce and still have more than enough to mature by tomorrow. Good luck! Can't wait to hear how tomorrow goes!
