Icon9 having surgery

Hi ladies. I've been laying low. I had the meth shot last saturday and after 3 days the numbers went up. RE said sometimes that happens and we we're waiting to see if they would go down. Today I had more bloodwork and an ultrasound again. The u/s showed the baby continuing to grow at the base of my tube and partially in the right ovary. We even saw a heartbeat. I'm deviatated! Is been the worst few weeks of my life! The waiting then the d&c then the meth shot which made me so sick and then I got the flu and my boobs we're still sore and I was nauseous so I knew something was wrong!

I'm at the hospital now waiting for emergency surgery. I'm hoping there is no damage to the ovary! My poor little bean! He or she really is a fighter!

Ill post when I'm feelin g better!

I'm so sorry Renee. I hope you can put this all past you and DH very soon. No one should have to go through this. Did your RE give any explanation for how or why this happened? Did the embryo travel from the uterus upwards? I understand ectopic pgs, but w/ IVF they put the egg in the uterus so I'm baffled as to how it ended up in your tube/ovary. I'm sure your baffled too. Hang in there. When one door closes another one opens.
