Grad update
Hey Girls, sorry I have been absent from the board for a while. It has been a busy couple of months. Last time I posted we just found out we were having twins! Well, about that time is when I started suffering from terrible morning (noon, and night) sickness which lasted for the first 20 weeks of my pregnancy. It was all I could do to hold down my job, so I didn't have the energy to do much posting. Thankfully, it did eventually end though and the rest of the pregnancy has been wonderful (minus the heartburn, but I can live with that).
We found out that we are having two little boys!!!! DH thought for sure it would be two girls, but I had a feeling all along. Since the end of the m/s everything has gone remarkably well. I have felt good, haven't had to go on bedrest, and now at 32 weeks and am not showing signs of labor (I am keeping my fingers crossed that my luck in this area will continue). The boys (which we still don't have names for), are doing pretty well. In fact, Twin A is a big boy and is measuring weight wise two weeks ahead of his due date. However, A's remarkable growth is now affecting Twin B, who unfortunately is now having trouble growing due to lack of space. So, right now we are taking it week by week and monitoring B very closely. If he continues to struggle to grow, we may go ahead and deliver sometime in early Jan. I am freaking out that that is so close.
I wish I could write to everyone individually, but to keep this post from being way too long, I just want to let you know I have thought a lot about you guys over the past couple of months and have really missed ya'll. This board was a huge comfort for me during all of my IVFs and I will forever be thankful for it and you girls. Congrats to all those BFPs out there! And for you girls still waiting on yours, it will come. There was time I never thought I would be able to post a thread entitled "grad update" and here I am. Miracles DO happen.
With the birth of the twins a couple of weeks away, I may not be able to regularly post, but I will definitely pop in and check on you all when I can. Much love and baby dust!!!!!
C.C.

Thanks for the great update! I just love hearing about our girls successful pregnancies. It always gives me hope.
Hope things continue to go well and that L&D is everything you ever hoped it would be.

Re: Grad update
CC it is so great to hear from you! I am so glad you have made it to 32 weeks although those first 20 don't sound like they were too much fun. Twin boys, what a blessing. I hope you can keep 'em cooking and growing a bit longer but it seems like you are doing a great job. Thanks for the update!

Re: Grad update
It's good to hear from you and see that you are doing well. Hopefully your twins will cooperate and Baby A will decide to leave a bit of room for twin B. Best of luck to you!

Re: Grad update
I am glad all is well. My friend had twins that weighed 2 lbs apart. Both were very healthy. One weighed 8 1/2 lbs and the other 6 1/2. I can't believe it is so soon.

Re: Grad update
Glad to hear an update from you! I lurk here all the time, and it's nice to see updates from grads.
I myself am 33 wks now as well (with a girl...Jill Alyse). All is going fine, unfortuantley sometimes...sometimes I wish I had a small issue or 2 just to get a little extra sympathy! haha I'm glad I'm doing well, really. I just finished cleaning up after hosting a CMas Eve breakfast for 18 adults and 14 kids.
Now to get DH working on the babies room...he's home for 12 days and is supposed to be doing it, so I thought...apparently he's taking the S L O W way of getting it done andjust informed me that it's Cmas EVe and he is taking the day "off" , and maybe he'd work on it tomorrow...huh? Cmas Day? Like we won't be busy tomorrow too w/ 10 guests coming for lunch/dinner.
I digress, congrats on the twins, get some rest you are going to need it really soon!

Re: Grad update
Thanks for all of the warm wishes. I really missed you guys. Looks like there has been a lot going on with us formally may/june cycles. Congrats on all the babies! I will be thinking about you guys and checking in to hear about your birth stories.
I will also certainly let you know when the boys arrive. Hopefully, we will have decided on names by then too. You would think that after TTC for almost 4 years, we would have at least thought about names. Anyway, take care and I will check in with ya'll soon.
