Icon5 Gestational Surrogates

I know we have had a few of them come through here and I believe one person was going to use one. I am just curious on the whole process and cost of it all. I don't intend on embarking on this road currently, just want some info. I have heard GS from india cost a fraction of the price, but I wouldn't even know where to start to get any info in general. I have 2 blast in which I offered to a family, so I wouldn't even intend to use those, plus I am talking about something that wouldn't even happen for atleast 5-7 years from now.

Any input would be appreciated!

Melissa you have your ovaries right? I mean when they did the hysterectomy did they only took the uterus? I don't have any information but I remember there was a lady cycling with me in my doctor's office she had 18 month old twins, when she gave birth her uterus was so stretched that she lost it, also she only had one ovary, I'm not sure how she lost the other one, and she was using a surrogate, well when we had the egg retrieval she had 7 eggs, all good quality, they transfered two blasts, and the girl had a positive beta.

Yes, I have 2 ovaries, just no uterus. I wish they would make a uterine transplant..lol To be honest I wouldn't even mind if I used donor eggs at this point, Hell- I been through enough!

Well heck Melissa~ If you arent going to do it for 5-7 years, you have plenty of time to save for it...

Heck if my body was up to it I would do it for nothing

Sadly though, I have high bp and dont tolerate pregnancy very well! Although I LOVE being pg!!
