georgia gal out of the game
I had horrible news at my RE today and i am still trying to gather myself. Well i am out of the game as far as she is concerned. She said that my last and only ivf cycle was cancelled because i did not respond at all and my estrogen levels decreased instead of increasing. Now instead of having a 10% chance, I now had a 1% chance and she did not think it would work and did not want to put me and dh through all that. blah, blah, blah yea right she just doesnt want her stats to decrease. She talked about donor eggs using my younger sister and adoption; i heard about half of that conversation.
But long story short i looking for other options. ANYONE needing ivf supplies send me an email.

I am so sorry to hear that you got that kind of news. When they told me I couldn't get my tubes reversed, I think I kinda zoned like you did.
Although you are really hurting right now, please don't make any rash decisions. Maybe you just need to cry, have a glass of wine, take a hot bath, and turn in early. Cry all night if you need to, just don't make any decisions... I can't tell you when you'll feel any better, but you will. You need to make these decisions with a clear head.

Oh Georgia, I'm SO sorry to hear this! I agree w. the other ladies, take some time for you but I'd get a second opinion before you search any other avenues! I know this sounds far off, but your family is going to be complete someday.....just hang in there............XHUGSX!!

I am so sorry to hear this tragic news. But please, do not give up hope. There are many options, and as time passes, you may be open to them. I know that there is nothing I can say that's going to help console you much, but know that I am thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers. You and yours have a very special place in my heart through this rough time.

I agree with the girls don't make any decisions now, give it time to sink in, also don't give away your meds. just yet, you might need them, if you do the eggs donation with your sister you are going to need meds again.
