Default For the FET'ers...how many to transfer????

Just wanting everyones input on how many they have transfered in the past or how many they plan to transfer in the future. Just curious. We are sticking with two...

My advice is to only transfer as many as you are ready to parent! I transferred 3, never in a million years thinking I'd have triplets. The thought never crossed my mind during the decision making process.

I agree with Nicky, only transfer what you are willing/able to parent and pray non split.

Since I've never had any to thaw before, not really sure. I guess I'd wait to see how they look when thawed. That may help you and your RE make a better decision.

I am old and decrepit so my answer probably doesn't count. Anyway, my first FET we transferred five 3d. And we transferred two blasts once. But other than that, we transferred what ever made the straw thaw. My successful cycle was five 3dt.

Good luck!

2 embabies.....that resulted in a singelton, healthy pregnancy! Well, besides the preterm labor....but that was able to be stopped and then...I had to be induced, LMBO!

Now I am on to my 2nd FET and we're planning on transferring 2 again. GL!

For my successful cycle I txerd 3-3d embryos.
I agree with the ladies, only txer what you think you can handle, not what give you that tickle in your belly. I have one lil boy and my pregnancy was full of complications. I started off with twins. After getting past the complications, we had one colicky baby, that never stopped crying and was high maintenance. I would of loved to met my angel baby, but I dunno how I would of made it through with twins!

My RE transfers two on fresh cycles, well at least in my case, healthy, young, with no history of m/c, and on frozen cycles transfers three, that's what I'm hoping to transfer, eventually....(sigh)
