Re: ? for the endo girls
No... not yet. It looks like it is not genetic. We will know for sure in a few weeks. as of now we know that he has a paraylized (sp?) stomach, food allergies (milk, soy, wheat, gluten) that may end up being celiac but he is to young to test positive, he is delayed developmentally, is having feeding issues and still has a left side weakness. It appears that it all may be related to issues w/ our preg. Right now they are leaning towards a slight case of cerebal palsey or that he has been so lacking in nutrition from the food allergies and feeding issues thatit may have affected his brain and nervous system. Either way at this point he is doing ot, pt, speech and feeding. No matter what the issues is unless it is genetic and even if it is we are already treating the issue with the therapy.
I had an appt wit the high risk ob for a consult yesterday and he gave us the go ahead to try again. He said that we could still abrupt. But feels that if we start our care right away with them (as soon as we find out we are preggo) that they can control the m/s better and it won't be so out of hand. He did say that we can pretty much expect to deliver another preemie. They will put us through their pretmautity program. He did say that we can pretty much figure on spending part of the preg on bedrest and most if not all of it on some other type of rest. Since dh will be gone part of the preg my mom will come and live with us until he gets home.
