Another question...
I always have low betas. I've had low betas with all of my pregnancies, even the ones that made it past 8 weeks. They just always start low for some reason. WIth my twins, my RE never suspected twins because my beta was normal (and not on the high end of normal, either. It was 56 at 14dpo) for a singleton.
I know that Hcg is produced by the placenta. Now that I am using donor embies (for the first time), do you think this will be a whole different ballgame with my betas? Do you think that the fact that they are always low is on my end or the embryo's end? I guess my question is more like... who is in charge of making the placenta? Would a donor embryo totally change my typical beta levels?
Thanks again!
