Default The Duggars....preg ment

Happy Mother's Day: Woman pregnant with 18th child :: WRAL.com

Ok I know we all struggle here to just get pregnant with one child.

Who else here just daydreams about it being this easy to conceive?

I had a very vivid dream the other night that I was pregnant, I actually woke up
feeling my belly to see if it was all real. I was actually crushed when it wasnt.

I was thinking about how I have been on both sides of this journey, the oops pregnancy
at 18 and the very hard struggle.

I get so upset that the gift of that surprise positive HPT has been taken away
from all of us

I mean I personally dont want 18 kids, but a couple more would have been nice.
Personally I think they are smoking crack.

I'm surpised her uterus hasn't fallen out by now. She should bottle that baby dust...she'd make a fortune. What's sad though is her kids have to make an "appointment" on a board they keep to have some 1 on 1 time with their own mother. My two daughters get loads of 1 on 1 time with me and DH EVERY SINGLE day. Plus, the older kids literally have to take care of the younger ones. Those kids should be exactly what they are...kids and get to play. Plus Mrs Duggar is 41 now so the risks go way up for problems. Watch she'll have twins again (she already has 2 sets). When all we want is ONE baby this woman is pumping them out by the dozens. When do you think she'll stop having kids? My guess is when she hits menopause or she gets a prolapsed uterus. My question is with 17 kids WHEN do they have TIME to have sex and make all these babies? It seems like all he has to do is look at her and she gets pregnant.

I am 100% AMAZED about it all. I've seen shows on them & they always seem so in sync. The whole family just seems, dang what's the word.....peaceful – go with the flow – I don’t know what I’m looking for?!? I personally know I could NOT handle 18 kids of my own, yikes!! Just think of the amount of years she was pg, holy cow!! I come from a large family (11 kids) & my oldest brother is 15 years older than me (I’m 3rd youngest). I hardly know him (although I know his kids better, his oldest daughter is 6.5 years younger than me). The age span w/ my family is 21 years from the oldest to the youngest. My brother married a lady who is from a family of 18 & no multiples. That is one of the closest family I've ever seen (oldest down to the youngest). I'm not sure what the age span is w/ them, but know 1 or 2 of the grandchildren are older than the kids/uncles. It is amazing how some people are barely looking at ea other & wham they are preggers & the next have to go thru a long journey to become parents.

Lurking but had to jump in on this one!

When I saw them on the Today Show, I immediately turned the channel. I refuse to watch these people. And I heard Matt Lauer say just before a commerical break before they appeared that they had a surprise and I was like "wow...I bet she's preggers again...not big surprise there!"

As far as having time to have sex, my guess is that the older kids care for the younger ones. I think I saw or read somewhere (years ago when she had like only 15 or so kids) that the older ones are paired with a little one to care for as soon as she pops each new baby out. Guess when you have 17 different babysitters available, you'd find plenty of time to DTD. I'm guessing the kids have no quality of life.

That woman makes me so angry!

To each his own, but wow... I'm glad my 3 will get to be kids and not have to be nannies for 10 other babies.

I guess Jim Bob just can't keep his hands off of her!

Well I can tell you one thing, the matching skirts and long hair has GOT TO GO!!

I want my children to be individuals not some puppets.

Although, I do have to say they are one organized family!!

I saw a show where the Duggar's answered questions and the oldest boy was answering a question about individuality and he was talking to the person off camera saying that he was tired of people saying that they were all the same and don't experience things. Then, to justify his point, he talked about how some of them eat pickles and others hate pickles, some of them like Little House on the Prairie books and other's don't.

Yeah...pickles and the prairie...
