Cyst
I think i said in a previous post that i don't go up to my RE for every visit. I just see an OB here in town to do the less important stuff like ultrasounds and blood work.
So i went today for another ultrasound. I have been on lupron for a week and today is day to of my AF.
When the dr. was doing the ultrasound last week he said there was a collapsed cyst on my right ovary. I wasn't too concerned. I have always been prone to cyst, but they always took care of them self.
So today i went back and today he said i had a large cyst on that some ovary. I asked if i should be worried? I was more talking for myself rather then the surrogacy but he said that he wasn't sure what they were really looking for and depending on my hormone levels blah blah blah. When i left my RE's office was already closed. So i couldn't ask.
Should I be worried. Do you think this could effect the transfer? I am a little concerned now. What do you think?

Re: Cyst
Alot of cysts resolve themselves...but I would call the RE and ask tomorrow. See how they feel about it.
I hope its nothing and clears up soon!!!

Re: Cyst
I know a cyst can delay a cycle where you are going to have a retrieval but I don't know about delaying a transfer. It can also depend on how big the cyst is. Like Stacie said though, they usually resolve themselves.

Re: Cyst
I should clarify. I have heard of a cyst delaying the start of stims, but don't know if you are not having retrieval. I hope that makes sense. I am probably confusing you more. By the way, I feel your pain dealing with two doctors. It can be difficult to coordinate sometimes.

Re: Cyst
I am not doing a retrieval just the transfer part. I the intended parents are using donor eggs.
I am still waiting to hear back from the dr.

Re: Cyst
Okay, I am being totally unclear. Yes, I know you are not having an ER so I would imagine it would be less of a problem for you but I don't know for sure. I had a 10mm cyst my second ivf and it did not get cancelled. Marian has mentioned that she had a cyst the entire time she was pregnant.
I am of no help. How about this...I hope your cyst goes away soon!

Re: Cyst
Thats OK AJ, I understand what you are saying. I know cysts arn't a big deal. I had one when i was prego with my DD. So, i guess i was just wondering if it would hold up the transfer for some reason. I am still waiting he her back from the RE. I hate waiting.
