I'm puzzled.......am I a hypochondriac?

So all day today, I'm noticing crampiness in my right ovary area and a sharp 'electric shock-type' pain in my left ovary area. The 'zinger' lasts about 5 seconds and it comes and goes throughout the day but the crampiness on my right side is dull but constant.

Any thoughts???? (I'm 5 days past my ER)

P.S. (For the record, I'm WELL AWARE that I've lost my mind w. my posts today.... )

I got really full and cramp post ER, and had lots of sharp pains in my ovaries. It turned out my ovaries were hugely swollen - one was 16 cm, and looked like a giant bundle of cysts. It lasted quite a few weeks until it shrunk back, but it was painful at times. It was a moderate form of OHSS, but I just thought they were some pains.

I agree with keys, I had lots of mild discomfort from the ovaries and I didn't even produce half of what you did Renee. I'd say it's your body getting back to normal. but with everything should it get worse or really start to make you feel uncomfortable. Call the dr. right away.

that it is probably your body just trying it's best to get back to status quo again. How are you feeling today?

Keep hydrated and call your RE if it gets worse. Better to be safe than wondering what it is.

The same thing happened to me also. I guess it is more common than I realized.
