Well, I'm a somewhat recent

. . . got mine at the end of April. If you don't mind, I'd like to join the updates . . .
Things are going well. I'm 12 weeks and 5 days, so just about to start the 2nd trimester!! I've had terrible m/s (not that I'm complaining). I finally admitted it was an issue and asked for medicine from the doctor (I guess a 9 hr car trip with multiple puking stops will shine a light on the issue!!)
I have to say that leaving the RE for an OB was a rude awakening, and I was really not pleased with my OB office at all. The good news is I found a midwifery practice that I LOVE, and I'll be going there from now on. I had a bunch of u/s early on because my ovary was huge (made it to 16 cm - about 7 inches or so). At my last u/s, my ovary had shrunk back down to 5 cm, and no evidence of any giant cysts, so I'm doing well now! I had the 12 week nuchal translucency scan (to check for down's syndrome) and it was very good! It was so cool to see the baby then. . . s/he was kicking and swimming and we could see all the facial features.
We finally shared the news with everyone - family, friends, etc. We were so afraid to tell, but we're finally out in the open. I'm loving wearing maternity shirts. I don't really have a baby belly yet, but I look pretty fat in non-maternity clothes - so I found some maternity shirts that hang right on the belly and create the "illusion" of a belly and I'm enjoying that now that people actually recognize me as pregnant, not fat!
