Bleeding..
I went to the bathroom earlier and there was some brown spotting on my underware. Then I went to the bathroom a bit ago and it was more red and liquidy, enough to run in the toilet to so I called the Dr and the nurse said it can still be normal. But I have to go in for bloodwork tomorrow morning to check my beta. I am sooo scared right now......

Re: Bleeding..
Hi hon. Take a deep breath. A lot of us have had bleeding early in our pregnancies. I had bleeding after my BFP and before my 1st u/s, and the doctor told me the same thing that your nurse told you. I cried and cried and just knew it was a m/c... but soon it stopped and all was well. (very, very, very well)
Doesn't mean that it isn't scary, 'cause it is. Hang in there You have a great beta, and I think that everything is just fine.

Re: Bleeding..
Actually I think I bled around the same time as you are right now. I remember it was Christmas Day, 12/25, which made me 5w4d.

Re: Bleeding..
I had a bleed and atcually brown is not fresh blood. That is blood that hs had time to oxidize and is now making its way out. I soo say twins!!!! Alot of us have bled and had a healthy pregnancy! I was 5w6d time of my spotting.

Re: Bleeding..
My thoughts are with you, Heather. They say even red spotting is ok. I know it's tough to hear.
Any cramping?

Re: Bleeding..
GL, Heather. You know, bleeding is more common in multiple gestation . . so maybe it is a sign of twins. Try not to worry yet . . . I know that is easier said than done.

Re: Bleeding..
I had to get pads because it keeps dripping out here and there. It is red now. I do have some cramping but not bad. I just wish it would stop! The nurse said I will know what the beta is by 1:00 tomorrow.....how am I going to wait that long?? I am just praying the little bean(s) is ok in there.

Re: Bleeding..
Take care, and take it easy. There are so many reasons you could be bleeding and still have a healthy pregnancy.

Re: Bleeding..
I am really praying for you. There are many women that have bled through their first trimester (and even more) and had very healthy babies. My OB and RE have both told me that further implantation can cause it. Many hugs and prayers.

Re: Bleeding..
Heather,
I had tons of bleeding throughout my whole first trimestor. When it first started it was so bad that they thought I lost the babies because there was a LOT of bright red blood. Enough to fill a box of pads it seemed. It lasted a little over two days and then I had brownish blood until 14 weeks. And now I have almost year-old twins.
Not to be gross, but I took pictures of the pads every day to document because I was so scared. I cried and cried.
Cramping is a good sign and very common because the baby(ies) are digging in for their sweet spot in your uterus.
I'm thinking good thoughts for you!

Re: Bleeding..
Heather when I was almost 6 weeks pregnant I woke up one night with the most horrific cramps you can imagine, and red bright blood running down my legs, the bleeding lasted for almost 7 days, I had to change my pad every couple of hours, but the U/S was perfect, heart beat good and strong, the Dr. said tht it was most likely due to late implantation, some women bleed for no apparent reason, BTW it was a natural pregnancy, and my baby is 7 years-old today, so don't freak out, it happens and it will be fine.
