Better News (I think)
Had my second follie check this am.
I forgot Cade's stroller and actually ahd to have the US with Cade sitting on my belly.
I have 9 measurables between 10mm and 14mm. I am pretty happy with that especially since they all seem to be in the same range and should all be retrievable (I hope).
I am just worried about my E2 levels. Melissa's info says at maturity (18mm) they should produce a 200 - 600 E2 level each. I am hoping when they call with my E2 level it is somewhere in the appropriate range.
I have my fingers crossed.

Re: Better News (I think)
Good news on the folies.
I had to have my wiggle worm on my belly a few weeks ago. That was fun. By the time the dr got in the room to due the u/s he had totally ripped up the paper drap. I might as well not have had any privacy. zach liked the way it felt and kept tearing.

Re: Better News (I think)
Don't count on e2 levels all the way, because my E2 was starting to get sky high and they anticipated alot of eggies and we only got 9, hang in there! I think you are moving along nicely. My RE used to say she rather a patient stim slow and steady then fast and in a short time. Also she said she had a patient stim for 2 weeks before trigger =)

Re: Better News (I think)
So I guess I am not the only one bringing the lo to the Re office!
I feel badly sometimes b/c I know I used to get sad seeing kids there, but I have no choice in the mornings.
I always want to say to the women, "Look, he's proof it works!"
Anyway, my E2 was 659. I asked if that # was ok given my # of follies today and she said yup - keep on doing 450 a night. So I am do another US Monday and think I will have ER on Thursday.
Wish me luck!

Re: Better News (I think)
See, now I would think I must be in the right place if there were a whole bunch of kids there!
Thanks for the cute visual!

Re: Better News (I think)
Great news, Renee!!! I used to bring Colton with me, too. It took everything I had in me to not say "We waited 14 years for him!!! If it weren't for Dr. S, we'd still be waiting!"

Re: Better News (I think)
Kristen, I agree that the more kids there are may mean that they are a successful clinic but I also know it is hard for many patients to see babies, especially at the RE's.
Lynne, I also have to stop myself from going up to the others in the waiting room and telling them that Caden is a product of IVF #3 and not to give up. I also feel like advertising this board for all the women that look so sad and helpless. In fact, after talking to women a couple times, I have mentioned this site as an excellent resource. Who knows, maybe they're lurking now:-)

Re: Better News (I think)
Hey Renee! Sounds like your doing great! I'm rooting for you!!
I can relate to sitting in the RE's office and seeing everyone else's kids. Some people are very private so I find it hard to 'strike up converstation' but in reality I want to know EVERY detail from how she stimmed to specific retreival details to her beta numbes......lol.... I found myself DYING for theses moms to say to me "He/She is a product of IVF#2 (or whatnot....)" so I could relieve myself w. the fact that YES, this DOES work! So dont feel funny, strike up a converstaion...........that might be JUST what the others in the waiting room might be looking for......if they're nosey like me they SURE ARE! lol....

Re: Better News (I think)
Yay for great follie check! Here is to great eggs retrieved!
I also agree that I would like for moms to tell me that their kiddos are a product of IVF! That proof is very heartening!
