Just got off the phone with the nurse and my test was a BFP and beta was a 286!!! She said that's a good, strong number so I'm definitely relieved! For those of you who don't know, I POAS at 6dp5dt and got BFP so I've known for a few days now but I was so worried that beta would be low!!!
She said I have three more blood tests (4 total) and then the first U/S in 2 weeks. I thought most people only had 3 tests before U/S? Now it's yet ANOTHER waiting game til Thursday to make sure #'s are doubling as expected. This is so hard (but soooo worth it)!!!!
BTW, can someone please tell me how to add "BFP" icon to my siggie??

Now moving on to IVF w/ICSI
ER 4/30 retrived 5 eggs & 1 mature. Embryo stopped growing on day 4. ET cancelled.

Mildlydelirious - we transferred 2 blasts. My DH only wanted to do 1 but I insisted on 2 (I am a triplet myself and would LOVE to have twins...plus, insurance only covers 2 cycles so I really wanted to give ourselves the best chance)!! You girls have me all nervous now, is 286 really that high of a number???

3/2001 - HSG shows blocked left tube
9/2001 - BFP
11/2001- cornual ectopic ruptured, emergency surgery, lost right tube and quite a bit of uterus
8/2002 - I was there to welcome our adopted son, Riley, into the world, cut the cord, first to hold him
4/2008 - uterine miscarriage (I thought that tube was blocked?!)
5/2008 - chose RE for IVF
6/2008 - learned that I have an odd shaped uterus but that my remaining tube is in fact open
7/2008 - met with RE to discuss surgery on uterus and future procedures in hopes of having a 2009 baby!
Secondly... you're a triplet??? I have 11mo triplet babies. Can you PM me and tell me all about your life? That way, I'll be prepared for things to come.

Yes, I am a triplet - actually, my mom had 4 girls in ONE year!! Our sister was born in February and the three of us came in December of the same year!! Pretty crazy, huh? I must say, it was so wonderful and special having your three best friends living and growing up with you. I'm not going to lie, it was extremely difficult for my mom (so much so she is extremely nervous about me having multiples b/c she doesn't want me to go through what she had to go through) but of course she says it was all worth it!!!
Nicky - how are you and DH coping - is it harder than you thought it would be?? My DH is terrified of having twins and I'm trying to reassure him that we can do it!
You girls are all so great, definitely let me know on Thursday when I post my 2nd beta if you think it sounds like twins, I can't wait to hear!!

Okay - that is cool - I have to ask - identical or fraternal? If it isn't rude, would you mind sharing if your mom used any fertility meds? I'm always interested in that . . . my mom had to take Clomid.
