Re: August Cyclers
Thanks Tanya!
AF was due for me on Saturday. I told Tkeys a long time ago that this would happen. I always have PERFECT cycles then when I'm ready to do IVF it will get crazy!
It's been a busy month here so I guess I just O'd a few days late.
I had a big temp drop this morning so I'm thinking I should see tomorrow.
Good Luck!!!

Re: August Cyclers
Holy Cow! So many of us here I cant keep track.........
I'm on the 'waiting for AF bus too'..........where is she when you actually WANT her?!??!?! I actually have 4 more days of provera though so I think I'm probably not going to see her until next week.
If you ladies want to post your tentative dates when you have them, i'll do a schedule so we can all keep each other straight and cheer accordingly.......

Re: August Cyclers
Well those of you who are waiting for Af to arrive....I am officially sending her vibes your way! AF arrived today for me.
I called the nurse (on my instruction sheet it says to call once I get my menses on Lupron) So, she asked me to come in tomorrow for a baseline check??? Did I hear her correctly? I am a bit confused....can anyone PLEASE refresh my memory?? I am so bad...but I can't figure out what they're checking for. I know it's not my lining because I have AF. Oh, boy, I feel like such a ditz. I didn't try to figure it out until after I hung up the phone. I am guessing it's for cysts? Ugh,

Re: August Cyclers
Dont feel bad, my last FET was in April and I forget too!
But I know they'll do BW/US just to make sure your levels are ok and that your ovaries have no cysts and your lining looks good and that will probably be your only US, but you might have one or two more rounds of BW if I remember correctly just to make sure you're ready to go.
Good Luck! KUP on you getting your green light!

Re: August Cyclers
Ok, so here I am waiting for the 23th. for my appointment, I'm already taking BCP and I'm trying to kill time somehow, Ugh.... I hate to wait, I'm such an impatient person......So I have read a lot about drinking tons of water when cycling and, of course, I'm doing it, I mean come on if they tell me to sleep on my head because it might increase my chances, well I would be a bat hanging upside down; now my question is how much is "tons" of water, because I think I might be drinking a tinny bit too much, I basically live in the bathroom, I'm peeing like an eighty year old guy with an enlarge prostate, so if you ladies would be so kind and let me know what is a healthy dosage of water....
.Also what else do you think I should do to increase my chances in the upcoming FET (didn't I say it? I would look like a bat. )

Re: August Cyclers
Looks like AF is finally showing her face for some of us. I expect her over the weekend if not early next week I would assume.
Ainara, I was drinking about 3 liters a day!! And I cursed it everytime I went to the bathroom which felt like every 15 minutes! hang in there.......

Re: August Cyclers
i just got all of my perscriptions.....wow...I knew what they were going to be but when you see it all in front of you its very overwhelming.
I go in for b/w and u/s on 8-5 and then I am scheduled to take my leuprolide on 8/13 and then it will really start.....Does this get easier? I am starting to feel really nervous!

Re: August Cyclers
Three liters a day! Holy cow. I don't think I'll be able to keep that up once school starts again.... I don't have the freedom to run to the bathroom whenever I need to.
Only one more week until I start my daily lupron injections, I'm a little nervous...any advice???

Re: August Cyclers
Tanya, that box full o' meds is REALLY overwhelming, especially when you first open it but trust me, once you start your daily routine, it does fly by and it truly just becomes a 'part of your day'. You'll see, you'll be sailing through your cycle in NO time!
Jen, lupron shots are a piece of cake...........you can barely feel them! Its the whole hype of 'injecting yourself' thats so overwhelming but once you get through the 1st one, you'll see, its really not as bad as you're thinking it is. Trust me, I remember that nervousness all too well.....
YOU CAN DO THIS GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep your eye on the prize!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and...
I have my first appt with the RE on Tuesday. He's going to do an SHG and start my BCPS. I'll also get the schedule for the cycle and more details on the meds.

Re: August Cyclers
That box of meds feels very overwhelming, I remember when I got mine years were streaming down my face counting the syringes, but the shots....you will get over those in a heartbeat, they get old pretty fast, all the excitement is too much to think about the shots, time flies, now the 2ww... that's another story, thankfully there is many of us to helps us pass the time.
