Who told you that your diet was unhealthy? Your doctor? Sounds okay to me if you are on a weight loss plan. Okay foodies jump on me and tell me I am wrong but so long as you have all your vitamins and minerals and something from each food group - surely thats considered okay. Protien shakes have all your vitamins in so anything you eat over and above that is a bonus.
I have followed a low carb diet for many months and sometimes taking protein shakles as meal replacement... my hair is good, my skin and I know for a fact my BP has been lowered and my cholesterol is at a healthy level - I think losing weight and getting to an acceptable BMI is actually more health than being obese.
