Default Natural sweeteners are a better choice

Do artificial sweeteners cause cancer? Does sugar cause diabetes? Do either play a role in obesity? According to research and anecdotes on the matter, there is no single, simple answer to any of these questions. Natural sweeteners may be a sweet alternative.

The development of artificial sweeteners has given people the notion that if they eat artificially sweetened foods, they will naturally lose weight. The growing problem of obesity suggests that no-sugar (and often lower-calorie) foods are not the panacea of America’s weight crisis. Often, when opting for artificially sweetened foods, people just eat more.

I know that the artificial sweeteners in diet drinks were making it impossible for me to lose weight. Since I went off of them I have been able to lose weight no matter how slowly.

I find it impossible to enjoy diet sodas with artificial sweeteners. The taste is just not for me. I try to enjoy the realy deal (sugarsugarsugar) in small doses.
