Default Where is everyone??

I'm starting to think that I'm the only infertile person out there that reads this board.

Okay - I'll start...Calling ALL Infertile women who have ANY sort of issue what so ever. Doesn't matter...pcos eggs, bad eggs, no eggs, bad mobility sperm, no sperm, not sure what the deal is - even those of you who have been lerking forever hoping that whatever it is that you have - just hoping that someone else has it too and will share first. EVERYONE!!!

Me? I've got PCOS. Had 1 DD (14 mths) and 1 m/c. TTC #2. Waiting for AF.

What about you???

I'm pretty much always around, its just been so quiet lately!

Well, round 3 of clomid/trigger/iui was a bust. 15dpiui and waiting for af to show. We will be taking a month off and then trying 3 rounds of iui with injectables. So basically we will be starting again around our 3rd wedding anniversary and our 3rd ttc anniversary. I never thought 3 years would go by without success. I'm kind of in shock. 9 cycles of clomid, 3 hsg, 1 lap and 1 endo biopsy. They still can't find anything really wrong with us. I'm really ready for this break!

I agree. It has been VERY quiet here. We've had quite a few graduates so that's a good thing. But there are still a lot of us here. We just need to speak up. I'm around and check in pretty much every day but with so little activity....

We're sort of in a holding pattern. We've been on a "treatment" break for about a year and weighing our options. Still ttc au naturale. Sometimes I wonder why we still try, but we do - sort of. It gets really old when you've been ttc for almost 6 years. We are unexplained and have been ttc for almost 6 years. I think DH is ready to give up and remain childless.

We've had a couple of meetings with the RE about donor egg (both identified and anonymous). Another IVF only gives us a 30% chance of success so with no insurance coverage we've decided not to go that route. Identified donor gives us a 40% chance so we've ruled out that option. Anonymous egg donor gives us a 60% chance so we are still considering that option. We have our first informational meeting for adoption tomorrow night. So that is still an option. After my failed IVF last summer, the RE sent us a new IVF protocol. I have a meeting with the RE next week to discuss the IVF protocol with IUI. I don't know if he will go for that. I'm not worried about multiples because I only produced 4 mature eggs with 1 grade 4 embryo resulting for transfer last summer. And I was on 4 vials gonal-f and 2 amps pergonal each day with no pre-suppression treatment. NOT a very good response. I think the only change in this protocol is adding micro-doses of lupron. But the IUI is covered by insurance and a portion of the meds are if they're not for IVF. So it's worth a try.

That's me in a nutshell. (OK - a big nutshell. ) Who else is out there?

Thanks Meghan and Beth....it's nice to know I'm not the only one left here.

Beth - I've got to ask...mostly b/c I don't know the answer. Why would an identified donor have a lesser chance than a unidentified donor??

The identified donor is someone you know. With us it was my sister. Since she is 37, her chances are better than mine but still less than someone younger. Since your chances of getting pg decrease with age, with the anonymous donors, they only accept donors under the age of 32 and screen them very thoroughly. That's one of the reasons the waiting list is so long. (About a year.)

Take care.
