I agree. It has been VERY quiet here. We've had quite a few graduates so that's a good thing. But there are still a lot of us here. We just need to speak up. I'm around and check in pretty much every day but with so little activity....
We're sort of in a holding pattern. We've been on a "treatment" break for about a year and weighing our options. Still ttc au naturale. Sometimes I wonder why we still try, but we do - sort of. It gets really old when you've been ttc for almost 6 years. We are unexplained and have been ttc for almost 6 years. I think DH is ready to give up and remain childless.
We've had a couple of meetings with the RE about donor egg (both identified and anonymous). Another IVF only gives us a 30% chance of success so with no insurance coverage we've decided not to go that route. Identified donor gives us a 40% chance so we've ruled out that option. Anonymous egg donor gives us a 60% chance so we are still considering that option. We have our first informational meeting for adoption tomorrow night. So that is still an option. After my failed IVF last summer, the RE sent us a new IVF protocol. I have a meeting with the RE next week to discuss the IVF protocol with IUI. I don't know if he will go for that. I'm not worried about multiples because I only produced 4 mature eggs with 1 grade 4 embryo resulting for transfer last summer. And I was on 4 vials gonal-f and 2 amps pergonal each day with no pre-suppression treatment. NOT a very good response. I think the only change in this protocol is adding micro-doses of lupron. But the IUI is covered by insurance and a portion of the meds are if they're not for IVF. So it's worth a try.
That's me in a nutshell. (OK - a big nutshell.

) Who else is out there?
