Update from me and no, it's not a sad one..
Okay, here goes.........
There was a little bit of confusion... I met with my RE on Sept. 20, which happened to be day 3 of my cycle.
He had me start my BCPs on day 5. According to my protocol (he changed it after meeting with me and the new one is called the Texas Protocol that they are using form my frozen transfer), I should have been on BCPs on cd3. No biggie, my RE had them give me one more weeks of BCPs. I went in Wednesday morning for a quick scan to check my current lining and to make sure my ovaries were clear. Ovaries, crystal clear. Lining, 8. I was given the OK to begin my Lupron. I should still get a period and I go in for blood work and such as close to day 1 as possible at which point they will check my Estrogen and such. I'll be monitored and then told when to begin my Estrogen patches. Once I'm on those, they'll be checking my progress and then they'll tell me when to begin my Progesterone in Oil shots at which point I will also begin my Heparin shots. The day of my transfer, I'll probably have my last PIO shot, continue my Heparin and throw Prednisone into the mix. The day after my transfer and from that point on, I'll be on Heparin, Prednisone, Crinone and Prometrium.
Lots of things to remember!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I might have mixed up the Prednisone and the Heparin because I left my notes at home.
Wish me luck!!!!
