Joanne - You are a doll for asking about me! Well, I had ret. on Wed and they got 26 eggs!! Egads... But we ended up freezing 15 and did not do a transfer because I hyperstimmed again, and I didn't want to end up in the hospital like last time. My ovaries were really sore for about 4 days and I was pretty bloated, but I feel a ton better today and the puffiness is almost gone.

So, if my ovaries get back to normal after AF shows up, then we can do an FET in October. I wasn't disappointed in freezing because my son is from an FET (thanks for the compliment on him by the way!) and I knew it would happen from day 3 of stims on when we were seeing over 20 follies in there.

You're like a hen! I can't believe you had so many eggs. Did you end up freezing 15 because those were the ones that fertilized? Did your RE reduce your dose from last time?

We still have 3 in the freezer from last time. I'm hoping to defrost next year.

Relax and rest and try to get better. Good luck with your transfer.

Congrats on the great egg retrieval. Sorry to hear you ended up so sore because of hyperstimming. I think you were smart to wait. I bet you have great results from your FET next month! By then your body will be relaxed and healed and all will be a go. Wishing you all the best!

Thanks ladies! Joanne - yes we went way down on my stims this time... and I produced more eggs than I did last time, can you believe that? It's because of my PCOS that I get so bad. My RE monitored me very closely, but on day 3 when we saw a large amount of follies already... I knew there was no turning back. We actually had 20 fertilize out of 26 (ICSI) and then 15 of them were good enough to feeze on Day 2. I think 10 of them are 4 cell and the rest are 2-3 cell.

FET's are sooo much easier than a fresh, they're like a walk in the park. You'll be amazed at how simple they are. Your daughter's pic is sooo adorable, it looks like a cover shot for a magazine!

You are the EGG QUEEN. Good for you. Sucky on the overstimulation. I remember how utterly sick and bloated you were last time. You poor thing. Garrett is gorgeous. Isn't it amazing to see how great our petri dish babies turned out? I look at my guys (Aaron is so obviously me in looks and personality whereas Connor is very laid back like DH) and I am still blown away by the fact that they were conceived in a lab. How I adore them. Wait until you have two running around. It's happy chaos. Good luck.
