Default Palpable mass on cervix? Should I worry?

Hi, Im not too sure if this is where I should be posting this but here goes...

I am 23 and have been ttc for 5mths no (child#1), I check my cervix on occasion and have noticed that there is quite a large round palpable lump in the middle of my cervix. It makes my OS kind of closed in the centre, so even when it feels like it is high soft and open I can only really feel this on the outer parts of the OS....cannot feel above as the mass is too large (about finger tip size from nail base to end of skin).

Could this be a cyst? I know I should visit my GP and get it looked at, I had a pap smear about 6mths ago, they told me there was inflammation but not to be concerned and they would send me a reminder for a further pap smear in 12mths!

Other symptoms I have are mid cycle bleeding (few days), and pre-AF spotting (5-7 days), and very, very painful AF...have been hospitalised for pain, U/S showed 18 cysts on 1 ovary, 23 on other (4yrs ago). They were querying PCOS but never went for the laparoscopy (Im a champion procrastinator)!!! Hahaha

So yeh, has anyone ever felt this kind of mass on their cervix? What did you do, and what did it turn out to be? I am concerned it is having an effect on my not being able to concieve!

Thanks in advance !!
