Yes. I had an OVARY rupture. It's not the same as having an ovarian cyst rupture. Not the same at all. I've had 3 ovarian cysts rupture in the past and all required surgery. However, the last time, the cyst involved the ovary so much that when the cyst ruptured so did my ovary. The pain is not something you can sleep off. It also nearly took my life. By the time I reached the hospital by ambulance I lost half the volume of my blood and needed multiple transfusions.

Before that day, I had never heard of an OVARY bursting. It isn't common.
