Our 22 week appt (PG ment)...
Hi all!
DH and I went to our 22 week appt yesterday and saw the twins. Lots and lots of movement. The U/S tech had a hard time with certain body parts because they were moving and turning all the time. It was amazing to see them in action. I probably feel only 1 10th of what they are doing in there. The tech was pressing down so hard with the wand and a few times, the kiddos got a little upset with it. I'd see them wack at it and actually feel it from the inside hit the wand. What a feeling! It would make me laugh and then the tech would lose his spot.
Both little ones are doing great! No abnormalities. Hearts look good (spent a lot of time looking at that). And we got the green light on both.
The girl is 1 lb 1 oz - Baby A.
The boy is 1 lb 2 oz - Baby B.
I have their pics attached in my siggy. I only posted the link because the picture takes up too much space and I don't know how to reduce it. Feel free to take a peek at my little Halloween ghouls!
I'm feeling pretty well. And my cervix is nice and closed according to the doc. I'm starting to feel a lot more movement these days. And oh yes... the girl (baby A) is head down and the boy (baby B) is breech (feet first).
DH and I are very thrilled with our appt results! Our next appt is on Oct 27th where I will be having the GTT done. I had this done in week 12 of my pregnancy and passed with flying colors. But I'm still nervous about the 24 week test. Wish me lots of luck!

Sounds like you have some soccer players in there! As the weeks go by, you will feel more and more movement and pretty soon you will wonder when they sleep! It's like Movement City. How fun for you to see them on the u/s screen. So much better than watching follies grow! Good luck with the GTT. Ugh, don't you feel like all you do is have tests done to you? That's what pg is all about. Tests, tests, and more tests. Here's lots of happy baby vibes for you. How is the nursery coming along?
Love,
Karen

Hi Karen,
Thanks! The nursery is coming along slowly. I'm still waiting for one of my borders to get shipped. I've received 2 out of 3 that I ordered. And the cribs won't ship until November. We went out this weekend and bought some paint. Its just a matter of finding time now.

Yeah Lisa!! Sounds like things are going just great. Cant wait to see pics of the nursery when you get it done. Enjoy the last 1/2 of your preg, it goes so fast and I still miss feeling my little man squirm around inside of me.

Hi Jenn!
Its so good to hear from you again! I love the pumpkin pic of your little guy! Its so cute!!
Yeah, I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. I can't believe I'm in my 23rd week already. But so far, I love this stage the best. I'm feeling these two move more and more. And yesterday, for the first time, I was able to feel the movements from the outside. I just happened to have my hand on my belly in the right spot at the right time and saw and felt my hand move. I was practically bouncing in my seat! I wish I'd been home with DH at the time instead of at work. Poor DH has been so eager to catch the first movement that he can feel. I guess it won't be too much longer now. I can't wait to see the look on his face. I've never been happier in my life. What a miracle this is!
And I can't believe yours is a year old already! Time does go by fast. Too bad we couldn't put it on rewind sometime, eh?

Re: Our 22 week appt (PG ment)...
Our 3ww is driving me crazy!
Its been a week since the last hcg booster, so its nice to have a break from being a pin cushion. We did find out that they were finally able to find something wrong with us though! 7 dpiui, my p4 was 19.5, with the boosters and progesterone suppositories. So they doubles my suppositor dose. Looks like my body hasn't been producing enough progesterone - which might explain some of the faint positive followed by AF that have happened during the last year (4 times I think).
So, I'm 15dpiui, no spotting, a little nasea after I eat, a little fatiged but that's about it. Not really any different then any other cyce, minus the spotting. The Beta is Monday!
