Re: Infertility Drugs
Hey girl!
Come check out the girls on http://talk.sheknows.com/f25/- LOTS of us have been on Clomid and other meds and can give you more info/support!
I'm Leah one of the hosts of that board. Clomid is a GREAT first step and alone is just fine. Lots of girls JUST take clomid. However, I really do like the fact that your Dr. is agressive and wanting you on the Estradiol and Procheive (Progesterone) - some women just naturally do not make enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy and supplementing can give you that "boost" to make it a viable pregnancy.
I'm not sure how much Procheive is, but my PIO (Progesterone in Oil - these are shots) was 35$ co-pay for a 20 day supply and my insurance covered NO IF (infertility) meds, but they did cover this. And I'm fairly certain progesterone suppositories and pills are cheaper than the shot I took - so is there a cheaper place you can get it or different version?
Come post over on the other board and I know the ladies there will have some good info for you!
