If I don't get pregnant this cycle on the Clomid/Gonal F combo I'm on, I'm going to probably have an HSG done. For those of you on Metformin, how many days before the HSG did you stop taking Met and did you just stop it or taper it off?
I did not stop taking Met at all to prepare for the test. The only requirements were that is took place on day 10 of my cycle, no BD'ing at all till after the test, and a pregnancy test. The doctor never mentioned going off Met for the test. Infact, I took Clomid that cycle as well.
