Default Hot Tub while TTC question

I just bought myself a hot tub and I have some questions. Can I use it for short periods of time if I keep the temperature below 100 degrees? I have done some research on the internet and it seems as though the biggest concern is raising my body temperture.

I am not pregnant (that I know of...I ovulated and had an IUI on 5/3) and if I found out I was pregnant I would certainly stop using it. But can it be harmful to me while I am trying to concieve? In some ways I know it will help me relax (which might help getting pregnant) but at the same time I don't want to do any harm or hurt my chances.

Please share any advice/infoirmation you might have.

Thanks!

Call your doctor and see what he says, but I would stay away from it.

Good luck!

Hi,

I really don't know if it would cause any harm but ask your doctor to be sure. I think it would be fine if you didn't go over 100 degrees and it sure would help with relaxation part. We got our hot tub after our last child was born so I don't know.

Good luck to you!
