I girls! Well we had our little girl last wednesday at 5:48 -
I went in for my 39 week and my blood pressure was high - so she wanted to induce -
My appt was at 11 and she wanted me at the hospital by 1 so thank goodness my mom was home already watching James.

We headed there -
I had my pitocin etc started by 2 and she was out at 5:48! SHORT labor

I did hemmorage like I did with James but thank goodness this time it was IN the hospital
I opted for a blood transfusion - thank goodness
Running after a toddler after a low hemoglobin would have been HELL
But I am recovering well

Megan Frances was 6.12 pounds and 18.34 inches long
She is such a sweet baby!! James is doing just superbly but I ensure to have that extra time with him

I never know how to post pics here so I could email them to someone if they wanted to post for me!!

Congraulations Frani!! That is wonderful news!! I'm glad to hear that you are doing ok....what a scary thing to happen! I'm also glad that James is adjusting well!

Congrats Frani on your little girl, I am so happy for you. I hope someone can post your pics so we can see them. I am sure she is adorable. Glad to hear you are doing ok now, sounds like you had some scary moments.

I'm so excited for you! What a beautiful name. My cousin just had a Meghan 7 weeks ago.

Wow, what a quick labor. Was it that quick with James? I'm curious about your low hemoglobin? Did you have to take extra iron during pregnancy? I had to go to a hemotologist during my pregnancy because I was so anemic. They were threatening transfusion with me. Luckily the hemotologist was able to slightly improve my count so I didn't need one.

I can't wait to see photos! Send them to Jenn S. She's the computer whiz.

Hi Frani,

I just wanted to add my congratulations to the others here. Your labor was so short, how wonderful. Little girls are so much fun. Hope you are all having a nice Easter. The girls have been playing outside since it has finally warmed up a little here in Michigan. Take care and hope you can post some pictures.
