Re: erin_brianne
HI!!!
Yes, the HSG was today...it went fast but it was painful! Thankfully it only lasted about 30 seconds ; )
The dr said my right tube was blocked and that's why it hurt. It wasn't my regular doctor so she didn't say much else. Although there was a nurse there that said after having this your fertility increases for the next 3-4 months so hopefully we'll conceive : )
Do you have a Bichon?? I love them! I have a cockapoo and she's 13 years old : )
Oh yeah, FF said that I O'd on CD8! I don't know if it's right or not.....but i'm still getting a High reading on my monitor... who knows : )

Re: erin_brianne
I don't know yet about a follow up procedure. My s.i.l asked the same thing. Next is DH SA this friday then june 8th (next wed) is the biopsy. Then after that I have to wait for my next AF to show then I go in for a blood test on CD3 for FSH and some other things.
I am glad you had a positive OPK! I really hope you get a Peak tomorrow!!! got my fingers crossed for you! And it is like so perfect because tomorrow you'll be on CD14...just like text book : ) let me know if it shows peak...
What is your next step with the RE? are you still waiting for them to call you with an appointment??

Re: erin_brianne
I did get peak today on the monitor, but that usually means I will O tomorrow, which is great because my cycles are normally 29 days (sometimes 28 and sometimes 30). It was just wierd this time because I only had one day of high, and I usually have 2 or 3. Oh well!
I am STILL waiting on the call from the RE. They should have received my paperwork one week ago today, so I think I will call them this afternoon after I run some errands and make sure they got the paperwork. I don't want to be a pain, but I am very anxious to get the ball rolling!

Re: erin_brianne
Woo-Hoo! I'm so happy you got a peak! My sister in law said that the cycle she conceived on her monitor went from low right to peak so i guess it's fine to have just 1 high day. I'm excited for you...let the BDing begin!
I definately think you should call the RE. This is stuff you don't want to wait around for. Besides I'm sure they won't mind a call at all. Everyone at my dr's office is so nice. I'm calling mine tomorrow because I don't know what time my biopsy is on wednesday.

Re: erin_brianne
I called the RE's office and they got my paperwork but they are waiting on my records from my ob/gyn's office. They can't make the appointment until they get my medical records, so I am now going to call the ob/gyn's office and see where they are in that process! Wow, this really seems to take forever!!! I think that patience is no longer a virtue for me!!

Re: erin_brianne
holy cow...don't you wish that just sometimes something would go easy and that you don't have to check up on everyone? oh well...
Good luck! I hope they say they've already sent your records over : )

Re: erin_brianne
I have decided I will call them tomorrow. I figured I will give them an extra day since Monday was a holiday! Heck, if it would make it go faster I will drive over and pick them up and drive them out to the RE's office! Anything to get this process started!

Re: erin_brianne
I was really busy yesterday and totally forgot to call!! I will try and remember to call today!
I did O yesterday so now I am back in the yucky 2WW!! My DH said that he feels really good about this cycle! I reminded him that he said that last month, but he said this month feels different. We did have impeccable BD timing (we bd'd the three days before O and the day of O)! I am not holding my breath, but we'll see.

Re: erin_brianne
Thanks Erin! But FF is wrong, I O'd on CD15, not 14, which would only put me at 2DPO. Oh well, close enough I guess.
Oh yeah, stupid me forgot to call the Doctor's ofice again yesterday!! Now they better have sent my records by the time I call Monday, since I feel like I have given them long enough!

Re: erin_brianne
Erin-I was also going to tell you that I got this great new book- The Infertility Survival Handbook by Elizabeth Swire Falker. It talks about all the tests and IUI and IVF and really everything you want to know. It talks about it from a patient's perspective. I checked it out from the library but after I read it all in about 2 days I might buy it! Has great information!

Re: erin_brianne
Oh, I'll have to check out that book! I love books! this weekend I read a book about the first set of sextuplets in the US. It was so crazy to read about 6 babies!!! Yikes, I for sure don't want that many babies at once!
Oh, my dr changed my biopsy to tomorrow. So I'll let you know how that goes.

Re: erin_brianne
I called my ob/gyn's office and guess what?? They never received the form asking them to release my records!!! I want to scream!! So they are sending me out a new form to fill out to send to the ob's office AGAIN to get my records to the RE!! I know things get lost sometimes, but come on!! I still can't get an appt. until the RE gets my records, so I bet I am looking at July now and that means I will go through another complete cycle!! This makes me crazy! I am just praying that I get a miracle BFP before I even have to go to the RE!
Sorry for my rant!
Good luck with the biopsy tomorrow. Let me know how it goes!

Re: erin_brianne
HOLY COW! I can't believe they didn't even send it!! Can you just go and sign and then have your records sent? I would be very frustrated too.
Although, like you said, you very well may have a by then! I hope so!! Any symptoms? ( i know, it's only 5dpo but thought i'd ask : ))
I had a friend tell me this sunday at church that if DH and I just relax we'll probably get pregnant. Right, like relaxing would suddenly cause my right tube to open and ovulation to begin occuring! geez, some people just don't get it. I guess someone else told DH that i shouldn't even worry because i'm young. Well, hello, this problem won't get any easier with age!
Ahhh, thank you for listening to my rant ; )
I'll fill you in tonite or tomorrow about the biopsy! yikes, i'm kinda scared...

Re: erin_brianne
No symptoms yet, but the odd thing is my temp. has been 97.6 for all five days after O. Isn't that kind of odd that they have remained so steady??
I HATE people telling me to just relax. Oh yeah, like relaxation is going to magically fix whatever it is that has been keeping me from conceiving!! People who haven't suffered with infertility have no idea how hurtful and stupid comments like that are. Someone told me I should just adopt. I have no problem with adoption and might very well do that someday even if I do conceive a child. But I haven't even been to the RE yet! I have no idea what is wrong and what needs to be done and what my chances at conception are!
Anyway, good luck with your appt. today. Hope it turns out well!
