Came by to say 'hi'

I don't know if anyone will remember me. I was cathyandcats for a long time and then became 2cats4me. I was on this board for a while and also on the IVF board.

My twins (via IVF #3) are now 13 months old. I never thought I would be at this point! We are not really ttc but not preventing anything either. I have fantasies that I could get pg naturally but in reality I know that I never could. I have PCOS and age working against me. We donated all our embryos to a friend of mine that she could have a chance too. (She cycles in April - crossing my fingers and toes).

I just wanted to come by and hang out for a bit. While I enjoy the mommy boards (and feel completely blessed to be there), they are mostly young and fertile. I need to be with people that know how hard it is. I thought getting pg would rid me of my feelings of infertility but apparently not as it is still here.

Hi Cat,

I know what you mean, I think the infertility thing is always there even after a pregnancy. I adopted 2 wonderful kids from Korea and then had one by birth but still feel a need to chat here at times. The other ladies on those mommies boards just don't know how hard we have tried and how long we have waited to be moms.

Good luck to you and you never know what might happen. I had tried on and off for 12 years and then just got pregnant on my own (well with DH's help). Maybe one cycle will be just right for you and you will have baby #3.

Your babies are beautiful....I can't believe they are 13 months already...god time does fly.

Yeah dealing with infertility issues is one of those things that unless you have been threw it....you just don't get it......and even though we now have beautiful babies of our own it still goes up one side of me when I hear that someone is pg and it was an "oooppps"......not that I hold it against them but there is still that feeling there....you know exactly what I mean.

Good luck with your upcoming cycles.....I will keep everything crossed for you that you will get a wonderful miracle surprise.......keep us posted....and post here all you want....this board is very slow so it would be nice to get it going!

Hi Cat,

Your babies are beautiful. I remember you, too. We have twins who are just past 2 years old and we're doing the same thing.... ttc but not doing anything about it really. I feel the way you do... it will be a miracle if we can get pg naturally with Dh's antisperm antibodies. But I can't do IVF again -- between that and a multiples pg, it was too hard on my body and I now have endo from either all the drugs or the c-section. But I'd love another kid. So glad to hear that you are doing well. What an unselfish thing to donate your embies. How sweet and thoughtful of you. Keep in touch with us. We miss you.

Hi Cat! The twins are just adorable! I also understand the wanting another bug, we went through another IVF when Garrett turned 1 and now I am 14 weeks with twins.

I am glad to see you here, hang out for a while!
