Back from transfer
Sorry I haven't posted sooner, but I'm really trying to take it easy.
We got a call on Saturday morning with our fertilization. Out of 12 eggs, 10 were mature and 7 fertilized. This sounds good to me. It was very similar with my past two cycles when we were ttc#1. I was worried about using frozen sperm, but it seems to have worked the same.
My accupuncturist met us at the clinic to do a session before and after the transfer. It was very relaxing. Then the embryologist came in to show us a photo of our 7 embryos. He said 4 were 8 cell grade 4 and the other 3 were grade 3. He was happy with the way they looked.
Dh and I asked how many we should transfer. I'm 37 so I'm now in a different age group from when we conceived our daughter. We transfered 4 with her. He suggested we do all 4 8 cell...it we were comfortable with SR. We said no so he suggested 3. Then when the RE came in...he said he would also do 3. He thought 2 would be to conservative for my age.
So the 2ww begins! My beta is on the 25th. We're praying that this is the cycle.
Thanks for all your support!
