I'm glad the u/s went well...start bouncing on an exercise ball or go for a walk(if it's warm enough!). I think we're just as eager as you to see what you're going to have!

Oh I so hope the tech was right in her thinking. I want a girl for you so bad! I don't know why - guess because after my 2nd boy and having my tubes tied, I never thought I would ever get to experience having a little girl. Now I get a double dose. Honestly, my boys were much easier than Ava is - but it's a personality thing more than not. My first boy was my hardest - he was just so smart and determined to try to do things for himself, which would frustrate him into tantrums at age 2. Still, he wasn't as hard as Ava has been with hers. She's much more stubborn - that's a DH gene. Hoping Presley is more like my 2nd son's personality. He was a breeze of a baby and toddler - he had my personality.

I've always felt like you were having a girl. Don't know if it's any kind of intuition, or just because I know you'd like to experience pink before you're done having kids. I bet the tech is right. I can't wait to see pictures and hear your birth story. Wonder if you'll go as fast this time around??

I'm getting the last bits unpacked and cleaned. We have to start preparing for a barrage of guests. My MIL wants to alternate. Them coming up here one month and us driving to VA one month. It's going to be interesting. Then my FIL still hasn't met Tomas, so he wants to come visit ASAP. Then my Dad and my grandma want to come up. Oyyy.

Ah the joys of being close to family! Seriously, I know it sounds like a lot right now, but you will be glad your kiddos get to be showered in even more family love! WTG on being in the finishing stages of unpacking - what a joy that is!

DS#1 and I got all but the last little bit of the back room finished - our part - not the guest room set up. I will probably go back there either later tonight or tomorrow and do the very last of it. It is down to the little things that I have to make decisions on whether or not to hang on to it and if so where to put it, or throw it out. Also, I was so overwhelmed today with emotion. While JC was cleaning the shelves behind the bar in that backroom, he ran across both boys' baby books as well as some pics of my mom and dad at their wedding and reception and a box full of other pics of my boys when they were kids. I didn't know what had become of their baby books and had forever accused my ex of having them and just not admitting it, so that I couldn't have them. The only thing we didn't run across, that I would have liked to have found, was MY baby book. Don't know that it will ever show up. But I was thrilled at today's discoveries.

Oh Shannon, that is so wonderful that you found those! And what a deal on that pump too!!

Rachel, I hope that tech is right, I can't wait to find out for sure! Have you even ventured out and bought something pink? I think I'd be afraid to jinx it but I would want to make sure if it was a girl that she wouldn't be mistaken for a boy!

Good luck with that phone, sounds like it will be a handful! I hate new phones too, I've had this one a yr and still haven't figured everything out.

Not much here, crappy weather today again.

I am completely exhausted today, and got NOTHING done. UGH.

1st. we went to go pick up our car, it was done on the weekend but just got the time to go pick it up.. well.. it was COVERED in white dust, think: opening a bag of flour inside a black leather interior and throwing it around.
I was PISSED. the bodyshop said that they don't detail it, just wipe the dust off.. YEAH RIGHT! it was everywhere. I don't know if I was more p'd that they left it in that condition and gave it back to us, or if they actually let the inside of our $40K car GET that dirty in the first place. they had to take off the 2 doors off the passenger side, and thats what resulted! seriously, we couldn't even ride in it, we brought sheets to cover the seats to get us to the car wash, we took it to one of those ones where they clean your car while you wait, and while we got 'the works' it still didn't all come properly clean, so that made me mad again, that we pay that much to get the car detailed after that and its not even 'clean' I'm sure the job they did was good enough if the car wasn't in such bad shape in the first place.. and there was a few spots of tar on the drivers side door that they didn't even touch, apparently you need to get the $400 detail for them to touch that.
other wise the car looks great, I think.. its a gloomy day, but so far it looks good, we'll see what it looks like in a bright sunny day (the paint matching) the passenger side was completely redone as well as the front & back bumpers.

I don't know why I'm so wiped today.. but my patience are verrrry thin.

I have an OB appt tommorow as well, fingers crossed my BP is still good & weight is not too high!

Good grief, I would be pi$$ed at the car repair place too. That is rediculous. It doesn't take detailing to just keep dust wiped off as you are working or vacuum. But I bet you really were aggravated when you paid to have it detailed and it still wasn't done right.

Just got through cleaning out my freezer and realized, I should have waited on that till tomorrow, since trash day isn't till Friday, my dumpster is full and I threw away some freezer burned meat that will be stinky by Friday. Have to keep it inside so no animals will tear into the big bag. Hopefully it won't get too bad inside the house with the bag sealed up till Friday morning. Also got the base for the infant carseat cleaned, so that is ready to go as well. I have a few more things to do, but will wait till Ava goes to sleep to even attempt it. It took me twice as long to get those couple of extra things done with her following my every step and asking a million and a half questions the whole time.

Shannon-thats nice that you found those old pictures. I love looking at old pics.

Today its nice, not too hot. I am just doing a lot of online training modules for my new job I start next week. I bought Austin some new toys yesterday and he loves them. I got him the Diego lego set and he loves it. I also bought thisl ittle mini BBQ from Target that blows bubbles, eh it was on sale for 15 but it kinda sucks lol. At first it blew al ot of bubbles, but now not so much. I think all the bubble stuff is clogging the fan wher it blows out...oh well. Besides that just a mello day, I feel tired. Austin took a VERY short nap, MAYBE 30 minutes max and is cranky now. I let him play etc and am feeding him some chicken and veggies now and going to lay him back down for a little bit or else I feel he will be cranky all night.

well it got done at my husbands work, and they closed the body shop & moved it to a different location.. but a different company owned by the same company, if that makes sense, and since Adam is an employee he won't raise a stink, or let me

well we got Kate's room cleaned out! well, I left my sewing machine & craft stuff in the closet so I can use that stuff in there for the time being.. tonight I am working on name plaques for their doors!
need to paint that room sooooooooooooooo bad, its hot pink & orange, with a big blue stripe through the whole room, and then there are some shelves in this loft bed that are in there that are multicoloured, I'll have to take Before & After photos, its hideous!

Holly ~ Did you ever decide on bedding? Do you still want to do what we had talked about - if they have what you are looking for? Just let me know.

Ava woke up at 3:30 am wanting some milk. She is back to sleep now, but I haven't been able to go back to sleep and now it's a matter of waiting for 5 am to call DH and make sure he's up and moving for work. I've been calling him a little later than the alarm clock at his house is set for so he can get used to hearing it and waking up himself. I can assure you that I will not be setting an alarm to call and wake him up once this baby arrives. So he better get with the program.

Wow Shannon - what a great wife you are. DH sets 2 alarms and still sometimes messes it up. I swear I don't know how he can turn it off and forget about it.

Speaking of DH - he started his new job today, so it's just me and the kiddoes today.

We all went and got haircuts yesterday. I'm pretty easy to please, but I'm not happy at all with any of them. Josh's sideburns are two totally different lengths. I asked for layers and got none. And Rhianna's bangs look kind of weird. So we won't be going there again. Not to mention there was hair EVERYWHERE. In the lobby, in the hair washing station, pretty much everywhere. Rhianna threw a mini-tantrum and was covered in hair when I picked her up off the floor. Blech.

after today, my ticker to my c-section will start counting by days! The things we get excited about huh?

Slept in till almost 9 am. Glad Ava was cooperative. She showed up at my bedside around 7:15 - scared me to death because I had just gotten back into the deeper sleep mode. I felt her presence and there she was. Anyway, she just climbed up in bed, snuggled down and went back to sleep with me. So now I've to get in "go gear" and get started on my list for today, which is all about my bedroom - finally painting that last little area (a recessed dressing area that isn't used for that anymore), cleaning out inside of a "catch-all" night stand, rearranging where the TV is and making more room on the baby's wall so I can bring the wooden rocker in our room. Don't worry, I won't be dragging furniture. JC will be doing that part for me. Beyond all of that, it's just about getting the rest of my room picked up, bed made, vacuumed, etc....

Matthew is 100% day potty trained!!!! Now we just need to work on nights... I hope he's got it all down by the time Kaleb comes!!!! But I guess if he's still in a diaper at night then it won't be a big deal to have to was just 1 more diaper.

Congrats on getting Matthew potty-trained. I wish we were even close. It's tough with the speech delay. I have a feeling that with everything Rhianna does...she'll do it later than the other kids, but it'll take her no time at all once she does do it. That's how it was with crawling/walking/etc.
