I was about to post and noticed we were at 100 on the other one. Since both Canada and the States have Holidays at the end of May, I thought it seemed like an appropriate Chat Title.
I got lots done today. I didn't get to do 2 of the things on my list for Monday, but I picked up a couple of the smaller jobs for Tuesday and did them instead. Overall, I feel like it was a productive day and it was motivating and I already have my day planned for tomorrow as well.
Holly ~ I hope Ryley was feeling better today.
Rachel ~ Still sending you some "get that labor going" vibes. I know you are ready to get the curtain lifted on this little modest baby of yours to see what you've got in there. Still hoping for PINK for you; although I know you will absolutely adore whatever you have.
It was 99 degrees here today. My a/c ran most all day long. Cause this mama isn't going to be HOT - even if it means I have to take out a small loan to pay the electric bill!
well all is good here, no more puking, she ate pretty good for supper, although i guess she really didn't eat anymore then a 1/4 of a bagel until about 5:30, we shared her italian wedding soup leftovers, and had spaghetti. but she is in good spirits, no more fever. thank GOODNESS!! I can't handle sick kids, its soo sad. I'm glad it only lasted a couple hours, guess i'm still lucky in that department.
Adam surprised me today with him having 2 days off in a row in the middle of the week! WOO! well. it just means he's not getting his usual days off this weekend. but tommorow our plan is to get his haircut, go grocery shopping, pick up a weed whacker, and then come home and do the yard work, then we have a work function to go to for his work, I really hate going to these things, its just so uncomfortable and you find yourself comparing yourself to others wives & SO's. sucks when your not feeling good with your body either.
The weather this past weekend was so crappy!!! and cold!! We had plans for going to the Vic-day parade and fair but there was no way I'd take the kids out in the 40-somethnig degree weather and rain and wind! But of course the weather guys are talking about how nice next weekend will be! That's great but dh is working!

Had my appt today. Im about 4cm now. Did another NST which the nurse said looked good. Im measuring 5 weeks behind, no gain of fundal in 3 weeks, so the dr is ordering an u/s tomorrow at 9am.
Im having a lot of cxs today (crampy ones since 4:30/5am) and now some show. Cxs are getting more and more crampier. So who knows if I make it to my u/s tomorrow.
Ill keep ya all updated if anything happens (porbably not but you never know with this baby, lol).

Its oddly cloudy, cold and overcats here Its been like 100 degrees this week and now its all cold and cloudy. Strange weather lately. Have some errands to do today. And packing stuff up.

Yeah Rachel! I hope you have that baby by the end of the week! I was measuring a good 3-4 weeks behind from about 34 weeks on....I betcha he/she is dropping more and more. I can't wait to hear what happens...and hope the labour isn't too fast for you this time!

Rachel you better be ready to run to the hospital at any minute!!! That baby is going to come flying out!!! Savannah went for 6cm to born in less than 15 min!
I can't believe that you Dr didn't send you over to have your water broke! I hope this is it for you and you miss the u/s tomorrow!!!
Rachel, I hope you are comfy, but being this close I suspect you aren't. I hope you don't make it to the u/s tomorrow and you get to meet that little shy one you have in there.
Holly, I hope you enjoy your function with DH's work, I know how it is to not feel too comfy w/your body and then comparing yourself. Not fun. Just remember you are growing a baby in there and that gives you so leeway in the body department!
Danielle, I want to see that movie so bad, but this weekend I think we'll have to see a family movie with the kids. We have a bunch of movie tickets, so it should be fun if we can find a movie to see.
Shannon, glad you are being productive, I'm exactly the opposite right now!! I managed to get a load of laundry going today, nothing else. MIL washed the dishes, so I guess she was the productive one in our house today.
We were going to a friends for a swim play date, but since the weather is being so wierd (99 on Saturday, barely 60 today) we didn't end up swimming. We just played at her house. Tomorrow I have to work early, hopefully the kids behave for MIL, she'll be on her own from 1:30 to 4. DH should get home around 4, if he's on time.
Oh, and I was trying to think of a good title for this thread, but as you can tell I forgot to keep thinking. You picked a good one Shannon.
I went into labor with both kids at 6-7cm (when arrived at the hospital) so I have awhile to go. I was a 4cm (for a week) with Isaac before things happened. With Carson I was 5cm the day before.
Well those feelings left and I feel back to my normal pg self.

I just won a Melela PISA w/metro bag for $104!!!! It was used just a few times and all the important stuff has been replaced with new sealed parts. New tubes, shields, bottles, etc..... Couldn't believe it! It hadn't been bid on because the seller forgot to go back and add the details and pictures. I emailed her about it and she just posted them today with less than 12 hours remaining on the auction. I know the price would have been way up there if she would have posted them sooner. Anyway, I'm glad I got one that cheap. She said she guarantees it, so if anything isn't as it was stated or if it stops working, she will replace it with another one. But I think it will be fine. It was only used occasionally for about a week and the mom decided to just do formula.
Kimi-we are having weird weather here as well. SUPER hot the past few days and really cold and cloudy today. The movie was really funny but had some shots that I could have done without, like male nudity shots lol. Besides that it was really funny.
Rachel cant wait to see what happens with this little one. Seems like things could happen any minute.
Well today I got my new phone, a blackberry pearl. Ughh its such a pain. I hate getting used to new phones. Plus all the letters on the key pad are totally different than my other phone, so it sucks trying to text, takes me like 5 minuts to send a simple message lol. Grrrr Tomorrow I am going to try to read the manual and understand it better.
Went to dinner with a friend and Austin. DH is off work on his way over and we are going to go see a movie AGAIN tonight, I think the one called "What happens in Vegas" We have a bunch of movie tickets left from XMAS so I guess we are finally using them up. I wanted to see Baby Mama, but it isnt playing at the theater right by my house and its playing earlier at the other theater, dont think we would make it in time.

first off, it was at 7pm, they closed their dealerships at 6pm, so most people didn't even have time to eat dinner, and they didn't have any food!!! instead.... AN OPEN BAR!! it was an annual 'general meeting' and they have an open bar! the people that Adam was with had 3 double drinks & 1 shot BEFORE they went into the banquet room and were drinking throughout the whole thing, like. what a joke!! every work function of his includes an open bar. so we had to go out to eat afterwards.. next year, I'm staying home !
sorry the function was so horrible, that really sucks especially when your pg! I remember when I was about 12 weeks pg dh and I went to sushi with some friends for his buddys birthday and everyone was so drunk and I was sober and tired, ughhh I couldnt wait to leave!

The u/s went well. Everything is measuring perfect. Its weighing 7lbs 10oz. So its gonna be around Carson's weight or even a little bit bigger. Its a thumb sucker so I need to prepare my bbs, LOL (the boys were never thumbsuckers). Got to see the face close up, and its sooooooooo cute. Tried the gender and she thinks its a GIRL.
