I got my BDAY email from SK and thought I would stop in and say hi. I have been really busy with a lot, mainly my personal life. My divorce was finalized in June, bittersweet! ExH and I have been getting along pretty well. He is still w his gf (my old friend, UGHH) going on 10 months now, but they are having "problems" lately and taking space, maybe he finally realized what a dumb young immature, partying home wrecking girl she is (had to vent). This situation has caused us to get along much better since i cant stand her, esp around Austin.
I moved to Anaheim Hills in April. Im starting to substitute teach now that school is back in, but looking for another part time job since I am no longer planning to teach for a living. I actually start my Masters in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University tomorrow
Im really excited, its a private Christian University and the program is amazing, the people in my courses are all on the same track so I have the same people in my classes every semester so its a very tight knit school and kinda like a lil family. Im on the 2 year track so I go thru the summers (ugh oh well), but Im really excited.
Austin is doing great! We have all had a great summer, just got back from Palm Desert, stayed at the JW Marriott, its a really well know resort here and its amazing we go every summer. Although this summer we stayed at their sister resort about 5 miles up the street, called the Shadow Ridge. I decided to switch it up this year bc this resort is newer and has a huge water slide at the pool which I thought A would love, no he hated it lol. I think bc he went under water when you hit the end. Also this resort had nothing open on sie after 9 pm for dinner, and nothing after 5 pm during the week, we were there 8 days. So very irritating to have to get everyone ready in the car adn drive somewhere, next time I will chose the JW. It was a last min trip we decided to do, originally my time share there was 500 for the week which is a STEAL bc we stay in a 1300 sq ft dual master suite that sleeps 8 has a full kicthen, living & dining room and 2 balconies, BUT the day before we left we hadnt even booked it and were not planning on going but bc of our heat wave (the desert was at 118), they reduced it to 280!!!! I couldnt pass that up. SO it was nice, just my mom, Austin I my brother and his 2 friends.. It was a very nice relaxing week.
Nothing too exciting to report about Austin, he is good and healthy. Had a little sick bug going on a few weeks ago but he is ok now. He has this new thing now where he calls elderly people grandma or grandpa lol. I took him to urgent care when he was sick and it wasnt his regular ped, it was an elderly man and Austin says "Hi Grandpa" when he walked in lol. Then at dinner on my bday we went to a Jpanses Teppan style restaurant where they cook in front of you in the desert and we had an elderly couple sit next to us and he said "Hi grandma and grandpa whats your favorite color" lol. So hard not to laugh. He is really tall but has totally leaned out. My brothers friends at the desert said its not fair that he is 3 and has a 6 pack. He loves the shows Wubzy, Kai lan, and Oobi (if you havent seen Oobi you gotta check it out, a lil strange).
Well I cant think of anything else that has happened lately. I hope you are all doing well. I really am going to stay in touch more this time. I have class Mon & Wed at night and bring my laptop so I will log on then and chat w all of you. Please fill me in on any new news, anyone pregnant???? Looking forward to hearing from you!!!!!
