Default Holiday Cornish Hen & Wild Rice

From G. Garvin Recipes

INGREDIENTS:
4 Cornish game hens
2 tbs. olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon Kosher salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon season salt
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon rosemary
1 tablespoon garlic
1 tablespoon thyme





PROCEDURE

Start by washing the Cornish hens under cold water,

Season with the Cornish hen spice blend. (Rubbing spices blend all over hen then set aside)

Next place a roasting pan over medium heat and lightly coat with olive oil.

Once hot, place hens inside pan and sprinkle salt and pepper on top of hens.

Sear hens on top of stove until golden brown.

Once browned, remove from stove and place in oven at 350 degrees for about 20 to 30 minutes.
