Default Ovulation after Laparoscopy

Hi everyone...............I am new...switching over from the IVF board. I am scheduled to have a lap on Feb 17 to remove what appears to be a 1 cm cyst on my right ovary. It is one of the following: follicle from IVF that was never apspirated in Oct that calcified, a clot from ivf aspiration that never got passes, or the beginings of a dermoid....................Just wondering if anyone knows how long you should wait after to conceive or when ovulation returns to normal?? Thanks!

Default Re: Ovulation after Laparoscopy

Hi- and welcome to the board. I first of all want to wish you the best of luck on the 17th. Please come back and update us on what happened.

I would definitely ask your RE when to expect to O after the procedure. I've heard many different things- you can ttc the next cycle or you wait 3 cycles etc. Your RE will have a good idea what you should do.

I want to wish you the best of luck when you do start ttcing again. I had several surgeries and several IF problems but somehow managed to conceive twice naturally. So I do believe in miracles.
